"We are here, Ms. Dilan." The security guard announced. "I'll be right back." She said as she opened the door to exit the car. Dilan had the keys already in her hands. She opened the gate door and walked towards the house. Going up the porch stairs, Dilan heard the sound of the breeze swaying the trees. The tranquility of her surroundings made her feel serene. She put the key in the keyhole but noticed the door was ajar. Did someone leave it open, or could there be someone inside? Dilan squeezed the keys in her hand and put her guard up. She slowly opened the door, peeking inside before giving another step. The light in the hall was dimmed, however, she saw no movement at the end. Dilan ventured in. Firat had instructed her to look around the living room for the file. Remaining vigilant, Dilan walked inside. Turning the corner of the hall, Dilan encountered a man standing with his back to her. She could have recognized him in the middle of a crowded room. "Baran?" He turned upon hearing his name. Baran was wearing a white shirt, the sleeves rolled up, and black pants. He was carrying a bouquet of red roses. "What are you doing here?" She asked. And he began walking in her direction. "I wanted to surprise you. I know you also wanted us to have some alone time..." She interrupted him. "Who told you?" He shook his head and smiled. "I know my wife. I knew you would get into action after seeing me upset over us not having time for..." She placed her hand over his mouth. Embarrassed. "So you were faking it?" He indicated no with his head and kissed the palm of her hand before removing it from his face. "I was upset." Dilan narrowed her eyes. For some reason, he looked guilty. "But..." Baran was smirking proudly. "What did you do?" He used his free arm to encircle her waist and pulled her to him. "I called everyone and warned them to refuse any request from you to babysit."

"Baran!" Not that Dilan was surprised. Her overcontrolling maniac was capable of pretty much everything, but this, she can't say she saw it coming. "I can't believe you did that... Wait, does that mean yesterday, at dinner, you knew about my plans when you asked about Gül?" He was hiding his smile. He placed the bouquet of roses over the table before pulling at her waist again. This time, she crashed against his body. "I wanted tonight to be special..." He was ignoring her. "...And considering what your body just went through, comfort was a requirement. I know you wanted to go to the cabin, but the couch there just wasn't it." How did he know she intended for them to go there? As if reading her mind, he said, "I heard Ms. Kader giving instructions to clean the place. It was not hard to guess who had given the order." Dilan didn't know whether to feel angry or to be impressed. "Who is babysitting our babies?" She went with anger. "Firat and Gül are, together with Cihan. Our father also promised to give them a hand." The whole family was involved? This was embarrassing. "You had everything planned out except for one thing." She wanted to make him sweat a little. He looked like he was going through a list in his head. "No." He said. Then he focused his eyes on hers. "I got everything covered." She smiled playfully. "What if the babies get hungry, Baran? I thought I was leaving them only for an hour at most. So, I didn't prepare anything." His confident gaze did more than annoy Dilan. "I heard the breast pumping machine several times yesterday. I also checked the refrigerator. You left it stocked with milk bags for at least two days." There was no winning with her husband. "Ugh!" Dilan tried to get away, but Baran had her caged with his arms. "I've missed you, Dilan." He kissed her. She tried to stop him and managed to break the kiss, but he didn't let her go. "Like crazy..." His lips brushed hers, and she could no longer resist him. "I'm not letting you go tonight." He kissed her again.

Baran had again the painful task of ending the kiss. Grabbing the bouquet of roses, he said, "For my amazing wife. The most thoughtful, compassionate, and loving person I've ever met. It is a blessing to be Dilan Karabey's husband." She rewarded him with the most gorgeous smile. One that made Dilan's eyes sparkle. "Thank you, they are lovely, Baran." He grabbed her hand and walked with her towards the back area. "Not as lovely as you, my angel." Baran had prepared a tent outside, adorned with plush pillows, for them to sit comfortably. In the front part, a carefully set table decorated with an assorted and colorful flower arrangement awaited them with their dinner. Lanterns of different sizes were spread in the surrounding area to give a more intimate atmosphere. Baran had disposed of everything to help Dilan relax and enjoy their time together. He watched Dilan as she saw what he had prepared for them. The startled expression on her face was his recompense. "Would you do me the honor to dine with me, Mrs. Karabey?" His wife had tears in her eyes when she replied. "It would be my pleasure, Mr. Karabey." They sat on the pillows, and Dilan didn't stop looking around. "Everything is so beautiful, Baran. I see the effort you put into everything. It is elegant and cozy at the same time... Breathtaking!" She exclaimed. Baran set out to serve the wine and take the lid off the plates to reveal the food. "Your favorite, steak, mashed potatoes, and salad." Dilan's exciting gaze focused on the food. "It looks delicious, Baran. Did Ms. Kader make it?" He smiled. "No. I wanted to make it myself." She blushed. The sky became darker, so Baran lit the candles inside the tent. He also took his phone, and an instrumental song started playing in the speakers he had placed outside. Dilan shook her head, like she could not believe it. "What?" He was curious. "You really thought of everything." He covered her hand with his. "And that is bad, because..."
