Six months later, Baran was with Dilan in the car, driving like crazy to the hospital. "Baran, the contractions are too close together." She should have listened to her husband, and instead of going to work, she should have stayed home. Now, they were on the other side of the city, which was further away from the clinic. Not only that, she didn't have her hospital bag or the baby's with her. "Breath, Dilan. Breath through them." That was exactly what she was doing, but it was proving to have little effect on her. The ride took forever. At one point, Dilan feared she would deliver their baby in the back of the car. "Almost there, my angel. Almost there." Hearing his voice, she tried to calm down. She decided to trust him, in that everything was going to be okay. "Ms. Kader..." Baran had called the mansion. "We are on our way to the clinic. Dilan is getting contractions. Please have one of the men meet us there with the bags she prepared. They are..." The woman interrupted him. "I know where they are. I will let the rest of the family know. Don't you worry about the children. I will pick them up from the school myself." She was thankful for the woman. "Thank you, Ms. Kader." By the time the call ended, they were reaching the entrance to the clinic. Her husband asked for a wheelchair, and a nurse appeared out of nowhere. Before they knew they were inside. Her doctor arrived before they did. She examined Dilan and determined she was to be taken straight to the delivery room. On their way there, they encountered Kerem with Dilara. "What are you guys doing here? Dilan? Are you alright?" Her friend asked. "The baby is about to be born." Kerem looked at her and then at Baran. "So is ours." They were wheeling them in the hall when Gül, Firat, Cihan, and Mr. Kudret arrived. "Dilan?" The doctor interrupted them. "Sorry, but we have to go in." She waved goodbye to the family, and she was taken to the delivery room. People around were getting prepared while a nurse helped her and Baran get ready.
Baran went outside to get the bag and overheard Firat and Cihan talking. "I think Dilan will be the first. She has experience; she has already delivered twins, for god's sake." His brother put his hand on Firat's shoulder. "That has nothing to do with it, cousin. Some women have faster deliveries than others, and having given birth before is not the only factor. I bet on Kerem's wife, just to keep it interesting." Baran turned to them. "My wife is inside in pain, about to give birth to our child, and you are both here doing bets? This is not something to have fun with. Cihan, you should know better. The only thing that matters is that they both are born in good health and that Dilan and Dilara come out of this without any trouble, not who is going to be first." Their smiles were gone from their faces as Baran went back in. 'It served them right.' He thought. He had flashbacks of when Dilan was delivering Önder. He could not deny he was scared of the story repeating itself. However, there was nothing to fear. The pregnancy had gone smoothly, and at the end, so was the delivery. Baran held the new addition to the Karabey clan: Araz Karabey. A beautiful and healthy baby boy. "Welcome, son. We were eager to meet you. Your mom and I are so happy to have you with us. Your siblings are dying to see you. They will come to visit you soon. Dilan smiled as he placed their son in her hands. "Tired?" He asked, worried for her. "A little bit. But it was worth it." He nodded in agreement. "How is Dilara?" Baran smelled his son's hair. "She and the baby are fine. My brother is happy. When he showed me little Deniz, he had tears in his eyes." Dilan brushed his beard. "Like you are now?" She was right. Even if it was their second time around, the excitement of seeing your baby for the first time is the same as it was with the twins. "Come in," Dilan answered to the knock on the door. "Can we come in?" Princess Dilara and Mr. Önder peeked inside with their little heads. Their eyes filled with excitement. "Of course you can." Dilay walked in, followed by her brother. "There is someone here eager to meet you all." Baran grabbed Araz in his arms and knelt beside the twins so they could see their baby brother. They looked fascinated by him, and you could tell they were instantly in love.
Three months later, it was time for Cihan's and Sena's wedding. It was getting held at the summer house. Baran had arranged for a company to oversee the preparations according to Cihan's and his future wife's request. Dilan was busy with baby Araz and the twins. She hardly had time for the Foundation. They had to hire several new people to manage the workload there, since Dilara was also unable to do her part. "Done. The twins and I are ready. How about you two?" Dilan was adjusting the baby's little suit. "Mr. Araz and I are also ready." Baran went to pick Araz, and Dilan grabbed the twins' hands. "Shall we go?" The children screamed excitedly. "Let's go." Dilan laughed at how cute they looked, Önder with a suit matching his Dad's, and Dilay dressed like a princess. In no time, they were parking at the summer house. The children ran to the backyard, eager to meet the rest of the family, who were already there. The only ones missing at that moment were the bride and groom. Dilan and her little family took their seats and waited as patiently as two children and a baby could. The music started playing, and Cihan and Sena came out of the house holding hands. The witnesses were Firat and Gül. Little Bahar was left in Ms. Kader's care. Her little brother looked so happy, and Sena was glowing. It was a beautiful ceremony. The bride and groom prepared for their first dance. Baran leaned on Dilan's head. "Do you remember?" She frowned. What was he talking about? "Our wedding?" She guessed. "The times we have stayed in this house..." She hit him. "Baran!" He held her closer and spoke so she would be the only one listening. "The pool, the upstairs bedroom, the living room... Is there something I'm forgetting?" Flashes of those moments invaded Dilan's mind. She crossed her legs. "So you DO remember." Someone called for them. "Dilan, Baran, come join us," Cihan said. They stood and slowed dance to the music along with the newlyweds, Firat, Gül, Kerem, Dilara, Cevdet, and Cevriye. Dilay and Önder came running to their parents. They wanted to dance as well. Baran danced with their daughter while Dilan danced with their son.
