Dilan was running around trying to get everything done. Between her work at the Foundation and planning for the twins' birthday party, she was overwhelmed with work. She was busy speaking on the phone with Zeynep when Baran entered the room. "Finally, Önder fell asleep. He has been..." Dilan silenced him with her hand and then signaled her phone. "Yes, then move that meeting for Tuesday, and..." She felt his lips on her neck, and on instinct, she moved forward to avoid him. "Dilan? Can you hear me?" Dilan went to the couch. "Yes, sorry! I was temporarily distracted. I was going to ask you to send Dilara's report for me to read during the weekend... Yes, that will be all. Thanks, Zeynep." Before Dilan ended the call, Baran's head landed on her lap. "What are you doing?" He was more difficult to deal with than their children. "I want to spend some time with my wife. Is that a crime?" She was upset; however, looking at him, she could not keep a straight face. "It is not. But I was busy, Baran. I was talking on the phone." He crossed his arms. "You are busier than I lately, Dilan." She leaned forward and kissed him. "Is my husband feeling neglected?" She was pulling back when he hooked her head with his arm to bring her to him. "A little bit..." He kissed her in a way that fired up her entire body. "What should I do to compensate you?" She asked. "Undressing me would be a good start." With one hand combing his hair, Dilan used the other to unbutton his shirt. One, by one, until she reached the edge of his pants. "Now what?" She wanted him to give her instructions. He freed the shirt from his pants, revealing his chest. She followed his eyes and did what he wanted. She kissed, licked, and sucked on and around his pink little nipples, while Baran delivered pecks to every part of Dilan available to him. Her hand moved slowly inside his pants, and she stroked him without rushing. His skin was so silky, hot, and soft to the touch that she could not wait to have him.

"Sit on my lap, Dilan." He lifted his head. Dilan stood and slipped her panties down her legs. Baran bit his lips as he watched her. The anticipatory expression on his face made her wet. That night, she rode him senseless, until they caved into each other. She didn't know how she had gotten into bed or when. The last thing Dilan remembered was Baran stroking her back and kissing her cheek. She lifted her head to find her husband sound asleep. She moved in her arms, trying not to wake him. Unconsciously, he followed her movements and ended up spooning her. Dilan smiled and rejoiced in the warmth on his body before giving in to tiredness again. "Dilan... Dilan..." It was Baran's voice. "My angel, it is getting late." She had no desire to wake up. "Ten more minutes, Baran." She felt his lips on her. Then in a commanding tone, he said, "Dilan, come on. If you don't get up now, you'll be angry with me later. Get up." He tried to pull her up, but instead she made him fall on top of her. "This is more dangerous for you than me, Dilan..." He captured her lips, and that did the trick. "Mmm!" She moaned into his mouth. "Now, I won't let you get out of here, Ms. Dilan." She smiled and lazily opened her eyes. "Someone is in a good mood." She declared while he brushed his face against hers. "Waking up to see your beautiful face would do that to a man." She decided to use his good predisposition to bring up a sketchy subject. "Baran..." He rolled off her and covered his face with his arm. "Not that tone, Dilan..." She turned to him. "What tone?" She asked nervously. "The tone you use whenever you are going to say something you know I won't like." She giggled. "My man knows me so well." His face screamed, 'not funny.' She cleared her throat and said it.

"No, Dilan." He stood from the bed and marched towards the door. "Baran!" He was angry. It was best if he left to cool down. "Please, I want her to be there for their first birthday. She is their great-grandmother. She has a right..." He had to interrupt her. "A right? A right to what? Destroyed our lives?" He was walking away. "Baran." She was not backing down. His wife was on a mission, and he knew better than anyone else how stubborn she could be when she got her mind set on something. However, this was different. He could not give in on this one. "I know you have forgiven her, and I respect that. But you need to respect me, too, Dilan. I don't want her near us. Not yet." Dilan hugged him and searched his eyes. "The twins have a right to spend time with her. We can not deprive them of that. What would we tell them when they grow up enough to start asking questions?" He closed his eyes and breathed in several times. He didn't want to argue with her. "We will tell them a softer version of the truth. They will understand." Her face showed her discontent. "Baran, please. She is not returning to the house. She would just be here for the celebration, that is all. I already consulted with Mr. Kudret and Cihan. They agreed to it." That infuriated him. "You spoke to them behind my back, Dilan? You should have come to me first." She pulled back. "You are not the easiest to talk to about the subject, Baran. When your mind is set on a topic, it is almost impossible to get to you," He replied. "My wife knows me so well and yet..." The words were loaded with more sarcasm than he intended. "And yet, what?" He needed to get out of there. He didn't want the argument to escalate any further. "I already said what I need to say about this matter, Dilan. It is closed." He marched away, aware of her words. "This is not over, Baran Karabey. You will see."
