Dilan woke up to find Baran staring at her. "Good morning, my angel." She rubbed her eyes. "Good morning. The babies?" She tried to get up, but he stopped her. "I checked on them five minutes ago. They are still asleep." Dilan settled back into the bed, and Baran focused on brushing her hair. "How long have you been up?" She asked as his eyes carefully examined her face. "Since the sunrise." Dilan was surprised. "Why?" He smiled slightly before he became serious. "Because of you." She was aware that he was trying to tease her, but at the same time, she could not help feeling mortified. "Did I snore? Or did I take all the blanket?" He circled her waist with his arm and made her lie on top of him. Dilan folded her arms over his chest and rested her chin on her hands. Her husband removed her hair from her face. "I woke up bothered by the light and then looked to my side and guess what I saw?" She liked it when her husband was this relaxed. It had been months since the assault on the house happened, and the overall mood in the house had improved greatly. Especially, Baran's. "What?" She opened her eyes wide to amuse him. "The most stunning, goddess-like woman I've ever seen." She blushed. "Baran!" He pinched her cheek. "What?" She rolled her eyes. "I'd better get up and get ready before the twins wake up." He tightened his arms around her. "You aren't going anywhere, Dilan Karabey." He rolled around with her until he was on top. "I'm not done recharging." He said as he nestled his head on her chest. "You are a baby, Baran Karabey." She felt him smile. "I think we have established I am your baby." Dilan began brushing his hair, and just like the twins, he fell back to sleep. She leaned her head to the side and began tracing Baran's face.

Dilan could not be happier. After a couple of years of living with looming danger, she felt that destiny was finally smiling at them and rewarding them for all the hardships they had experienced before. Dilan listed her blessings. She had a loving and supportive husband, the most beautiful and sweet children, a challenging yet rewarding job, and was surrounded by the love of her family and friends. What more could a woman ask of life? She was always amazed at how things turned out. She had gone from a forced marriage born out of a blood feud between families to gaining what she had always longed for. A family that completely embraced her. Dilan closed her eyes and concentrated on feeling the soft ripples of Baran's calm breathing against her body. An asleep Baran meant he was heavier on her. But she didn't mind. She could spend the whole day like that. However, she needed to clean herself and get dressed before her other babies demanded her attention. Dilan moved with difficulty but tried not to wake her husband. He pulled the covers over himself, and she kissed his cheek before going to the bathroom. When she was done, she went to her angel. "Good morning!" She exclaimed, and the twins moved excitedly after hearing her voice. "Did you sleep well? Mom did. I slept the whole night. Let's start with you, Dilay." Dilan picked her daughter up to change her diaper. The little Miss began to mumble. "Really?" She asked with a surprised expression. Dilay moved her hands and legs as she continued her conversation. Then it was Mr. Önder's turn. "My son is a gentleman; he waited patiently for his mom. Good boy!" Dilan sensed her husband's presence. She feigned ignorance until Baran's arms were wrapped around her. "What about me? Am I a good boy?" She felt her cheeks heating up. "Let me see... You can be moody, controlling, and overprotective. Not to mention your constant teasing and attempts to distract me. Would you say that is the definition of a good boy?"

Baran smiled. He collected all her hair and placed it over her shoulder, making sure his fingers graced her skin in the process. Now that he had access to her neck, he dove in and spread loud and wet kisses all over. "I wouldn't mind being called a bad boy either, Dilan. Whichever term you decide to use, it works for me." He knew he had accomplished his goal when Dilan's body leaned on his. "The fact that you can be both is what pulled me to you." It was Baran's turn to be affected by her, and boy was he affected. The protest of their son was what sobered them up. "I think I'd better go take a shower." Dilan turned with Önder in her arms. Her eyes landed on Baran's very painful erection. She licked her lips, and he watched her with want, unable to make his body leave. Their son's hand bumped Dilan's face, as if he were demanding her attention. Her gaze completely changed when she focused on the little mister. "He's hungry. I'd better feed him." Baran walked out of the room, thinking. 'What about my hunger?' He was, for the first time, jealous of his son. 'I can't believe you, Baran Karabey. Get a grip, man! You are not an animal.' He scolded himself as he undressed and entered the shower. He turned it on. When the cold water hit his skin, he hissed at the contrast. While he showered, Baran tried to concentrate on work by making a list of things he needed to do. When he was done, he got dressed and went to their room. Dilan was not there. He went to the twins' room, and she was getting them ready to go downstairs. He leaned on the door to observe her. She noticed because she turned to him. "I could use your help, Baran." He smirked. "Of course." They headed out and towards the living room. They found Firat baby-proofing the area. "What are you doing, Firat?" Dilan asked. "I'm putting protections all around the edges of the furniture, so the babies won't get hurt."
