Hali woke up with a headache, not the gentle, annoying kind. No, this one felt like a construction crew had set up shop in his skull and was testing how many nails they could hammer in per second, lovely way to start the day.

And of course, it really didn't help that he and two of his brothers were busy writing a mission report demanded by a certain wannabe red tiger with anger issues and the patience of a wet tissue.

Thankfully, he wasn't stuck with the chaos trio today, he was with the two most sane brothers, Gempa and Solar, where were the rest, you ask?

Well...

Thorn was in his mini garden provided by Tapops, lovingly whispering to plants like a Disney princess.

Taufan and Blaze were off bonding with their new Powerspera friend, the same one they had just rescued.

And Ice? Who knew, probably sleeping somewhere inside the station again, hali really hope that he was sleeping in a bed or on a sofa and not inside a cabinet he find cozy.

"What happened after we landed on Planet Astrali near that sketchy looking laboratory again?" Gempa's voice cut through the quiet.

That earned an extremely unimpressed sigh from Solar, who seemed dumbfounded by how ridiculous that event had gone.

"Long story short, Blaze fell down a hole and sulked, we spent twenty minutes trying to coax him out with emotional bribes, ended up discovering a secret tunnel, which... surprise! led straight to the Powerspera we were looking for which is Dirtbot"

Gempa blinked, then snorted.

"Oh... that" He chuckled to himself before uttering a quick thank you and scribbled something on his datapad.

Silence stretched for a solid five minutes before Hali let out a low groan and rubbed his temples which also caught Gempa's attention.

"You okay, Hali?" he asked gently.

Hali turned his head slowly, only to find Gempa giving him the look, the one that said 'tell me everything in excruciating detail, and don't you dare lie, because I can smell deception like burned toast'

Sometimes Hali swore Gempa might actually be a human lie detector like Ice but nope. That was just Gempa's extremely accurate mother instinct.

"I am fine, just a small headache" That earned a glance from Solar and also instantly double Gempa's concern levels.

"Is it your power acting up again?" Gempa asked, worry creeping into his voice.

Yes, ever since the war in Gurlatan, and the whole "regaining his powers" thing, Hali had been experiencing occasional random power flares.

Ochobot said it was harmless and would go away on its own, but right now? hali just had to bear with it for who knew how long.

"No, it's not" Hali muttered before looking away, he didn't want his little brothers treating him like he was about to pass out any second.

"I am going to bed early" he announced abruptly, pushing away from his chair and making a beeline for the door.

He figured he had two options which is one, lie and say he was fine until Gempa inevitably dragged him to bed or the infirmary like a fussy grandma or two, Just walk out and surrender with dignity.
