brain.exe has stopped working

The front door creaked open as taufan step in the house with a cheerful smile.

"I am home!" Taufan called, setting one foot inside.

But before the words even finished leaving his mouth, a blur shot down the hallway and slammed into him.

"TAUFAN!!"

Solar wrapped his arms around his older brother with a giggle, nearly knocking him over. Taufan laughed, catching him with ease and ruffling his hair.

"Hey sunshine! Did you have fun at school?" Solar's eyes sparkled.

"YES! And guess what?? You won't believe what I learned today!!" Taufan opened his mouth to respond, but he was already too late.

"So I was reading this random page from the science encyclopedia during recess, and it mentioned quantum entanglement, and I asked my science teacher what it meant, and she was like wait why are you reading THAT and I told her I was curious"

Solar pause for a moment to take a deep breath before he continues again.

"And then she said it was twelfth grade level but she explained it anyway and GUESS WHAT, it made sense! It's like-"

Solar pause again to think of the way to explain it.

"Okay okay imagine particles that are like twins, right? But like SUPER twins! If one moves, the other one moves even if it's like... on the other side of the galaxy!!"

"Huh?" Taufan blinked once, then again, but the little genius infront of him continue.

“And THEN she brought another teacher and they talked about quantum teleportation and I said, so does that mean technically we could teleport using entangled particles but the issue is controlling it without decoherence?? and they STARED AT ME and then I asked if that's what warp drives in sci-fi are based on and they just made this weird face like this!"

Solar made an exaggerated wide eyed face, clearly proud of the reaction he got.

Taufan was frozen mid step, backpack sliding off one shoulder, his sapphire blue eyes vacant as he stared at his brother.

His brain was buffering, completely fried.

"Uh... Particle... Twin…teleport…what?"

Solar didn't stop as he had entered full science mode now.

"And THEN we talked about Schrodinger's cat and I said it doesn't make sense to me because the cat would totally move and make noise if it was alive and the box wouldn't be silent so it's not REALLY a superposition because observational evidence would break it"

Solar excited voice echoed off the hallway walls as Taufan stood in the doorway, still not fully inside, brain absolutely overwhelmed.

Error 404, Big Brother Taufan Comprehension Not Found

And after a few minutes more, Halilintar and Gempa walked into the scene, chatting about their school day until they spotted Taufan just… standing there.

"Why is he standing infront of the door?" Halilintar narrow his eyes as he watch Taufan stood frozen.

"Taufan? Are you okay?" Gempa ask but Taufan remain still until they heard it.

"and maybe if the particles were stabilized with a vacuum chamber, it will be easier to isolate the state of quantum spin without thermal noise affecting the result-"

Solar was still going, pacing around excitedly as if presenting a TED Talk.

"He being held hostage" Halilintar slowly turned to Gempa before looking back at their poor brother who remain clueless of what the heck solar are talking about.
