-----------------------------------------------------------

The battlefield are quiet now.

Not the peaceful kind of quiet that followed rest, but the hollow stillness that came after destruction had exhausted itself.

Where fire and ice had once torn the ground apart, where screams and clashing forces had filled the air, only silence remained.

On Planet Baraju, the war had ended, not with another strike, not with one side standing over the other, but with words.

Mas Gardu of the Salju Tribe stepped forward first, his movements were slow and deliberate, as if even the ground beneath him needed reassurance. When he spoke, his voice was calm and steady, carrying words of peace.

Warmaster Yanaari of the Bara Tribe answered him, firm and proud, yet willing to lower her blade. Her posture remained proud and unyielding, yet there was restraint in her stance.

Before both tribes, the two leaders sealed their agreement.

No more war.

No more blood.

The tribes would finally live together as one, It was the outcome that everyone hoped for. A victory written cleanly into reports and records.

A happy ending, a successful mission.

But for the brothers, it didn't feel like one at all.

Blaze and Ice been avoiding the others since that day, not in an obvious way, but enough that it hurt.

When someone entered the room, Blaze would leave soon after. When footsteps approached, Ice would turn away.

Slowly, the space between them and the rest of the group grew wider.

Blaze became quiet, the brother who used to laugh loudly and cause trouble now stayed in the corner, saying little. He didn't joke anymore, didn't tease, didn't pick a fights with anyone just to mess with them.

Even when Taufan tried to cheer him up or when Thorn pulled him into conversation, Blaze only gave short answers. Sometimes, he didn't answer at all, it felt like he was punishing himself.

Ice changed in a different way, he stopped talking completely, most days, he stared at nothing, eyes unfocused as if he was somewhere else.

The brother who usually spent his time sleeping now barely got any, but when he did, he woke up tired and tense.

He avoided being in the same room as the others, the moment someone came in, Ice would quietly leave, his presence fading like he was never there.

Halilintar tried to talk to him, Solar tried to sit beside him, Gempa tried to make sure he ate.

Nothing worked.

The same went for Blaze, no matter how much they tried, neither of them moved an inch.
