      I climbed up to the roof of the club it was my thinking place while here but that's pretty much thanks to Jax. We had a lot of great times up here and spent countless nights laying on a blanket staring up at stars. He was the reason this roof was and always would be a place I found calming. I heard the creak of the ladder letting me know someone was coming up. I naturally assumed it was Jax he was the only other person to come up here. "You know baby girl I know things are hard on you but you need to tell him," Gemma said shocking me it wasn't Jax . It shocked me she knew no one did beside myself and Serenity. "So how do you know," I asked taking the cigarette Gemma held out to me. "Well you see she has those Teller eyes there isn't no mistaking them baby girl," Gemma said as she lit up her cigarette. I stood up and looked across the town I couldn't meet Gemma's eyes as I said," You know I didn't even know until two weeks ago. When I was with Jax I was on birth control the whole time. I didn't have it after I left Charming so I just assumed it was Luke's. See Serenity had been having liver problems and her dad and myself were tested for possible matches just in case. When the results came back he wasn't a match much less her dad. I was actually planning a trip back this month to tell him.  I wouldn't of hidden it from him." Gemma jabbed her cigarette out on the side of the wall and said,"I know you wouldn't of baby you have always been a good girl besides you know you did kind of rip his heart out when you left." I looked back at Gemma and knew I would have my work cut out with getting her to forgive me. I went to speak again when Jax came up over the roof. "Oh sorry ma didn't mean to interrupt you two," Jax says turning around. "No baby we were just done besides I think Sarah needed to talk to you," Gemma says standing up to walk off. She kisses him on the cheek before climbing down the ladder. I'm nervous now there was so much I wanted to say to him I fought every day to not run back here and fling myself at him. Problem is I've always been way to stubborn and stuff happened it kept me from coming back specifically kids. I stare at Jax who is rolling a joint up. I wait for him to finish and look at me before I say,"I'm so sorry I just left. I need you to know why but if I tell you then you will be only one that knows so you can't tell. I found some papers in Papa's closet more the deal that your dad made with mine for me to be the first woman to be patched in. Then I found my mom's journals. Ones that said of how in love she was with papa but the thing was in those journals my mom point blank says the Belfast charter was responsible for my fathers death and if anything ever happened to her she knew it would be them. I came to tell you but when I found you I found you with another woman so I left you didn't need me at least I thought. I felt if I stayed my brother and myself would be dead just like my dad and mom." Jax walked across the roof reaching for me running his fingers into my hair and stroking my cheek with his thumb. Without even thinking I leaned into that touch I had missed his touch. Jax looked down into my eyes and said,"I am so sorry I should've of been there for you." "There is something else," I say looking at the ground," I didn't know until a few weeks ago and when I found out I started planning trip here. I promise I never knew and was coming to tell you, but Serenity is yours." I knew this hit him hard his knees seemed to buckle under him and he was holding onto me as I was life line. "Does she know," he ask. I nod my head and say," I knew she deserved to know. I knew you both did so I showed her pic of you and told her we were going come meet you." He looks up at me I can see the longing in his eyes and that look alone takes my walls down. I reach up and cup his face in my hand and kiss him. Pulling him closer to me as he lifts me up into his arms and that's when I was reminded of how bad the pain still was. I winced and took a sharp breath in as the pain hit me from his hands on my ass holding me up. He immediately puts me to my feet and says,"I'm sorry darling I got ahead of myself and forgot." "Let's go meet your daughter Mr. Teller," I say with a smirk on my face.

I couldn't believe it I had a daughter and a daughter that was already ten. I didn't know what to think about having one on the way now and Wendy was already three months. I didn't have a clue what to think about meeting my ten year old daughter. Maybe it was the kiss blocking my thinking or both but that kiss definitely made me remember all the feelings I use to have for her. Maybe it was my dick thinking because it had been a decade since I saw this woman and we were only kids when we were together I couldn't still have feelings. Though she was my first everything, my first love, my first kiss, and the woman to take my virginity. I couldn't think about that though cause we were walking into the office  to meet my daughter. "Hello mom how are you feeling," the little girl ask behind a cheeseburger and fries. "Mommy is feeling great," Sarah says while taking a seat out," but remember how mommy said she was wrong about your dad and told you that there was a man in Charming who was your dad. Well this is that man this is Jax he is your father." The little girl walked over to Jax inspecting him looking him up and down. She finally nodded and held out her hand. When Jax took her hand in his she shook his hand and said," I'm Serenity I guess I'm your daughter." "And I'm Jackson Teller and I'm your father I guess," I say smiling down at this little girl with the same smile and eyes as me. She laughs and says," I guess we got some catching up to do." I start laughing along with everyone else. I look over and smile at Sarah and all I can think is family.
