"So what do we do about her," I said to the other men who were also surrounding my door that had been currently locked blaring music for two days now. "She only comes out to plan the funeral and get more drugs or booze," Chibs says leaning back up against the wall. "Has she talked to anyone," Joey ask us. I sit down leaning up against the wall and say,"Just the people at the funeral home. She won't even let me in the room. I think she knows we are going try to talk her out of drinking and snorting her sorrows away." The other men sit beside me against the wall and we continue to watch the door in silence. "Enough is enough," I hear my mother say as she walks closer. "Kick the door in," she says motioning towards the door. "Ma no offense but I don't think you of all people are going be able to help her," I tell my mom knowing that she isn't always the most gentle of people. "Ok you won't I will," my mom says as she begins to kick the door. All she managed to do was get her heel stuck in the wood of the door though. The men all break out laughing until my mom turns to glare at us. I jump up helping my mom get her heel lose of the door. "Now do I got to keep trying or are you going help," my mom ask me putting her hands on her hips. I hold my hands up in surrender knowing I would never win this if my mom had truly set her mind to it. I drew my leg back while holding onto the trim on either side of the door. I kicked my foot forward making impact with the door send it forward as it ripped off its hinges. As the door opened all the way it revealed a drunk Sarah stumbling over to the dresser towards a line of blow with a cut straw in her hand. My mom marchs into the room and over to the dresser. She then leans down and blows on the dresser sending the drugs into the air. "What the fuck," Sarah says as she comes forward to try and save the drugs with no success. "Doll he wouldn't want you doing this," Chibs says coming forward reaching for Sarah. She turns quickly away from him before saying,"It hurts to bad to feel it right now. I lose everyone always and I'm so tired of it. If I felt it right now I don't know if I would be able to hold it together." Gemma walks forward towards Sarah and to everyone's surprise she slaps her across the face. The room is instantly silent as Sarah grabs her face and glares at Gemma before walking towards her growling,"You bitch." Chibs and myself step in blocking her path to Gemma. "You ungrateful little bitch," my mom spits back,"Your children, your brother's wife, and his children are out there mourning and having to feel every bit of it. While you are in here being no support to anyone but your own selfish needs. You think for one second he would want you doing this in here. No he wouldn't want you to be doing this. He would want you out their helping y'all's family." My mother motioned for us to move out of her way before coming forward and putting her arms around Sarah. She leaned her forehead against Sarah's before saying,"Baby girl your SamCro and that means you are tough and won't be taking down easy. That also means you never have to do anything alone. You have family baby. We are your family." Sarah begins to cry but snaps out of it real quick and says,"Your right." She straightened real fast and gave Gemma a kiss on the cheek before turning to face us. "Just let me shower before I face them," she says as she turns away and walks towards the bathroom. "Ma you could've been more gentle," I say giving my mom a look. "Don't give me that look," she says,"Besides it worked"

I stepped under the warm spray of the shower. I couldn't believe I was actually still standing or even still alive. I had snorted so much shit and drank so much alcohol I should've been on the floor dead. I started to think of what Gemma said and thing was she was right. My brother wouldn't want this. He loved me and would've died all over again if it meant me living. He wouldn't want me wasting it. So I wouldn't waste it. I would start living every day for both of us. "I love you Zachariah," I whispered to myself. I remembered then the tattoo that Zach had drawn out of the moon reaching the heavens and that's when I knew what I had to do. I hurried up and finished showering. Then I rushed through the room throwing one my old shirts on and a pair of worn blue jeans before opening the door to the room. I rushed through the hallway with the drawing I had grabbed from my suitcase when I grabbed my jeans. As I entered the bar I looked for who I wanted as I found him. I walked across the room to my papa and put the drawn before him. The drawing was simply my brother and my way to say I love you. There on the side of the moon in cursive was to the moon little cub and in the heavens it read and to the heavens big brother. "I need this please Papa," I said with tears filling my eyes. He lead me across to the chair they had always did tattoos on and asked me,"Where at?" "On the side of my ribs," I tell him while pulling up my shirt. I lean forward on the chair as I listen to papa begin pulling out needles and ink.

I watch as Sarah leans against the chair talking to Chibs and laughing while he put some ink on her. I walked closer to examine the drawing and what she was putting on her skin. I can't help but feel the lost of Zach as I see the drawing and remember what they had said since we were little kids. I remembered the time Zach had found out about me and his sister. I couldn't help but laugh as I remembered by the end of the fight we were both on the ground bloody and laughing. Then they had hugged it out as Opie had called them both a dumbass. "Daddy," I hear Serenity calling to me as she runs up hugging me. I couldn't get use to that but I sure did love it. I leaned down to pick her up in my arms and give her a kiss on the head before sitting her back down on the ground. "What's mommy getting on her," the little girl ask me as she entwines her fingers with mine. "Something to remember your uncle by darling," I say looking down smiling at her and then looking to Sarah. Sarah sit leaning against the back of the chair but her head was turned to watch us with a big grin on her face. "It's good to see you smile," Sophia Zach's wife said while bouncing a cooing baby on her leg. "All I got to say is Chinese," Sarah says grinning and before I knew it Joey and Ty were standing on a table chanting Chinese. "I think the big kids want Chinese," Serenity says while twirling in circles holding onto my finger like a ballerina. Then an Elvis song came blaring through the old jute box in the corner of the bar. Serenity got a big grin on her face before she grabbed both my hands and started doing the twist. I laughed but took the hint and started doing it back with her. I listened to the chatter and the laughs that filled the club for the first time in days. When I looked across the club I saw this odd group of people who wouldn't normally be able to get along. I had run across crews like this and it never went well but here we were brought together by this lady. I realized then that she was my old lady and she was an old lady that made a club. I whispered down into my daughters ears and smiled at her giggle. I let go of her hand as I walked across the room and when I reached Sarah I got down on one knee. She sucked in a breath of shock as I held up my hands and said,"No this isn't nothing as glamorous as a proposal. Well at least yet anyways." I pull my sons ring off my finger and say,"With this ring Sarah I ask you to be my old lady and get my crow on you again. Honestly I watch you in this room and I watch it change from that of a room that's been nothing but quiet and sad for days to a room full of family seeing the light because of that tattoo. Then again you knew it would help them too. Your the glue that holds everyone together and that is what makes an old lady and a club. That and your the one who holds me together. Your my light and I love you." I watch as Sarah launches herself out of her chair on top of me smiling. "So that's a yes," I say smiling back at her. She leans down and kisses me before saying,"Duh that's a yes." I hear the club break out in whistles, shouts, and laughter but I'm to focused on the woman in my arms to pay them much mind.
