While the others were still busy searching for Jimin, Taehyung quietly slipped away from the group, his footsteps swift and silent.
He was headed somewhere specific.
Somewhere that might finally lead him to William.
Don’t bother asking where he got the information—Taehyung had his sources.
Turns out, going to college and making a few werewolf friends had its unexpected advantages.
Tall grass brushed against his legs as he made his way through the thick woods, slashing through the overgrowth with his seraph blade, its silver gleam catching the faint light filtering through the canopy.
His grip on the hilt was tight, his mind clouded with fury—all he could think about was Jungkook.
His fears.
His pain.
His brokenness.
And the one behind it all: William.
Few people knew just how skilled Taehyung truly was with a seraph blade. It was his specialty, his art.
And when Taehyung fought, no one stood a chance.
He wrapped a long black cloth securely around his face, tying it so tightly that not even the most brutal skirmish would loosen it.
His identity had to remain hidden—not for his own safety, but for what he was about to do.
Soon, he reached an old, worn-out basement-like structure, half-buried in moss and shadow.
Three werewolves stood outside, guarding it—armed with blades and guns.
Taehyung narrowed his eyes.
He moved like the wind—fast, silent, unpredictable.
Before they could sense his presence, he’d already created enough noise elsewhere to draw their attention.
"You—check that side. You go north. I’ll head west. Something’s out there—it might be an animal."
One of the guards barked orders, and just like that, the group began to scatter.
It was just what Taehyung wanted.
He never aimed to kill—not unless he had no other choice.
He didn’t believe in hurting the innocent.
But if someone stood between him and William…
If someone protected the man who hurt Jungkook…
Then he wouldn’t hesitate.
Because this wasn’t just about revenge anymore.
This was about justice.
“Who’s there…”
One of the werewolves stepped cautiously toward the rustling bushes, gun raised and eyes narrowed.
“Not there…”
A low voice echoed from behind him.
“I’m right behind you.”
Before the guard could even turn to react, Taehyung’s blade sliced clean through his throat, blood spurting into the air. The werewolf choked on his own breath before Taehyung plunged the seraph blade into his chest—once, twice, again and again—until the body collapsed to the ground in a lifeless heap.
“Sam…?”
Another werewolf’s voice trembled as he spotted the fallen body.
“Who… who did this?!” he roared, his eyes flashing in fury as he scanned the shadows.
“Me.”
The reply came from his side—but before he could turn, a sharp pain shot through him.
His arm—severed at the elbow—fell to the dirt, gun still clutched in the limp hand.
He didn’t even get the chance to scream.
