"The only heaven I'll be sent to, is when I'm alone with you"

Naina crosses her arms, stares. Keeps staring, "Where were you the whole day?"
"Uhh, shopping?"
"Without. Me." Her words were no better than venom.
Me and Theo slipped in the group just before dinner and after it Naina found me outside the restaurant and started interrogating me.
"It was a– uh..." A fucking date.
"Say it."
"Say what?" I laugh nervously.
"You went with Theo." She threw a glare at him who's standing a few feet away. He must've sensed the glare because he started shifting his feet, glancing at us nervously.
"...he dragged me." I emphasize.
"But you went with him!"
I chuckle nervously, "Heh."
"So it was a date." Goddamn, she's scary. She and Ronan are a perfect match made in hell. Talk about Hades and Persephone? Slay. I think I've been reading Percy Jackson too much these days.
"Well..." I laugh again and tuck my hair behind my ears. Naina wasn't amused, she narrowed her eyes at me.
"I'm going to kill Theo for stealing you. A whole day without you?!" She threw her hands around in frustration, then she looped her hand through mine and led me away to a quieter area.
Naina looked beautiful today, her curly tied up with one of those really pretty flower clips and a pink flowing dress hugged her brown skinned curves.
"You've got to fill me in! And– uh, a lot happened on my side too." She winced and chuckled lightly.
"Tell me, oh my god."
"Ronan was refusing to leave my side this whole time, I mean," She laughed, "It was so fucking cute, I swear. And we had a lot of those 'talks' about where we stood."
I smiled. Naina and Ronan loved eachother, like a lot. If soulmates did exist, its them. But they had a hard and complicated situation going on the whole time. It was good news, what she said.
My smile was enough to keep her going, "We promised each other it wouldn't be so hard anymore, like, you know, we'd talk more openly."
"That's really good. The vacation did something, huh?"
"It did." Her lips tilted up, dimples showing on her cheeks, "Now what about you? Lover boy's been keeping you busy, I assume?"
Now, it was my time to chuckle and blush like an idiot.
