The Rage Within.
It has been two days since she last saw him, three days since he last spoke to her. She has a feeling that Vulcan is blaming himself for that night's incident when it wasn't even his fault. But the more she fails to see him the more her heart breaks, the more lifeless she feels. The nights are becoming difficult. The dreams are becoming eerie and oddly, too familiar. At this point she doesn't even understand if she is losing her mind.
"....what say?" Teressa's voice brings her out of her trance.
"You were saying something? Sorry.. I was zoned out." She confesses. The open laptop is lying on the table infront of her as the green dot at the top right corner shows her online status.
"I was saying let's go out today. We can carry your wheelchair with us and if you want the crutch will be there as well. We can go for a movie, then a little shopping spree, some good food and then back to pavilion. You in? Since Leo, Rik and Manik are outside we can take Arjun with us." Teressa offers with a genuine smile. She has been seeing how distressed Pihu has been looking for the last few days and decided she needs to go out even if for a little while.
It has been a really tough task to convince Arjun who kept saying that it is still not safe for her but eventually she was successful in brainwashing him. The only thing they should be extremely concerned about is the return. They have to come back before the arrival of the beast AKA Vulcan. Because no one knows what he'll do if he doesn't find her home at his return. Keeping that in mind Teressa adds,
"We'll come back before his return." To this Pihu gives a sad smile. That man has been avoiding her like the plague. She is certain he won't even try to search for her.
"Don't bother about him. He isn't talking to me." Pihu says and then adds smilingly,
"I am in." Teressa's lips break into a huge smile as she shouts a "yay" before jumping forward and hugging Pihu like a koala. They both started laughing at that.
"Did I miss something?" Arjun enters Pihu's room with a tray of coffee.
"Yes. She agreed to the plan." Teressa screamed and lunged forward to hug him, to which he smiled and patted her head being the big brother he is.
"But.." He was just about to begin when Teressa interrupts.
"But.... we have to arrive before the insecure possessive monster arrives. I know the drill." She says winking at Pihu and Pihu looks at her in disbelief. Teressa rolls her eyes at her expression.
"What? I bet you haven't noticed but he is head over heels for you Pihu. He looks at everyone else with this huge frown on his face but whenever he looks at you he becomes a lost puppy. You're the only one he doesn't have a problem with even in regards with touching him. Now, that should make some sense, shouldn't it?" Teressa adds smilingly.
"That's because he used to be emotionally dependent on me, nothing more nothing less. Although for the last few days I think he has grown over that dependency as well. He hasn't spoken a word to me, neither did he look at my face. I don't think he needs me anymore. Good for him and good for me as well, you know. It'll be easier for me to leave when my plaster gets removed this weekend." She says with a sigh as a sad smile takes over her face.
Teressa's face falls as she looks at Arjun, who has his eyes fixed at the ground, eyebrows furrowed. He raises his face and looks at both of them.
"If we want to go we have to hurry." He gives them a tight lipped smile.

"I already said I don't know man!" A man at his late forties shouts at Ritwik. His hands are hanging by the ceiling of the dungeon, his lips are busted, he is trying hard to touch the ground with his feet for some support but it won't touch, adding to the inhuman pain in his straining body. His body has more bruises than the hair on his head. All he wants is to die, that can be his only satisfaction. Although he isn't alone in this hellhole. Almost twenty other men are hanging from the ceiling just like him. The chain that connects their arms with the ceiling is bruising their wrist and obstructing their blood flow.
