The Grumpy Baby.
The room is nothing extravagant, nothing lavish but within the last few days it has become an integral part of Pihu's life. The glass windows, the wooden bedside table overflowing with her favorite books, her cupboard filled with dresses specifically bought for her.
Everytime she found a new dress lying on her bed, she knew who was buying those for her . A man who is certainly too broody and cold to acknowledge that he liked buying colorful dresses for her. The small dream catcher swinging back and forth due to light wind, the coffee mug which easily became 'her' coffee mug, sits on the tiny table at the left side of the bed.
She looks around once again and leaves everything as it is. Only packs the things she brought with her from Bangalore. The things she made here, received here, will remain here, because this is her room and she has started feeling a weird sense of ownership about it. So she stands straight and looks at Leo, who, standing against the doorframe, looks immensely upset and worried at the same time.
"Aren't you taking those?" He points towards her cupboard full of clothes.
Pihu smiles, her usual gentle smile.
"No. I am appointing you as my keeper. This is my room Leo and if anybody says otherwise, fight them. When I come back, which I will, I want everything the way it is." She says looking at him as his face brightens.
"Will you do that for me?" She adds, tucking a few more of her things inside the bag.
"Yes ma'am. I ceryainly will." Leo says bending down to help her close the trolley.
"For a few days I have been thinking about something though.." Pihu says mostly to herself.
"What ma'am?" Leo asks.
"Do you miss your country Leo? If you are given the chance, will you go back to Switzerland?" She asks, her voice filled with concern.
Leo pauses for a second before focusing on his work.
"I will visit my mother land? Yes ma'am, sometimes I will. But I have to stay by boss's side till his last day or mine. If he chooses to stay here, I will be here, serving him, because I owe my life to Mr. Bucher and Vulcan is a part of him. Not my word but his. He considers Vulcan as his own son." Leo explains. Pihu furrows her eyebrows in concern.
"Just so you know, if you ever want to leave, you can talk to Manik. I don't think he will stop you from living your life on your own terms." She utters sincerely but then she releases a sigh and chuckles.
"For now though, please don't leave, he needs you. You are the only person apart from me, who he trusts with his life Leo." She smiles and stands up. Leo smiles back agreeing to her words silently.
Just when she was about cross the door she pauses, a mischievous glint passes through her obsidian eyes.
"And also, if you ever decide to leave, my Brinda will need some serious explanations for that." Leo's eyes widen with surprise as heat rises to his cheeks, he opens and closes his mouth, fully out of his wit but she leaves stifling her laugh, without waiting for his response.

The dining table is filled with chatter after a long time. Teressa's voice take over the table as she keeps scolding Arjun over phone. Her phone lies on the table with the speaker on.
"This isn't even a valid excuse Arjun." She says, placing the plates against the respective chairs.
"Because it's not an excuse your highness. My job needed to be saved you know, I am a poor soul barely living through it." Arjun's voice booms through the speaker.
