His.
Her trembling hand is slowly moving upwards. The world around her becomes nonexistent as her hand clutches the purple piece of cloth covering her heart. The ache there is surreal. Drops after drops of tears trail down her cheek. She doesn't understand when her lips begin trembling, doesn't see when Arjun stands up and looks at her face in a way as if he has been waiting for this moment for ages.
Doesn't understand why and when her hands start turning the wheels of her wheelchair. Doesn't hear Leo calling after her as she hastily leaves the mansion neither does she see how Arjun extends his left arm stopping Leo in his tracks shaking his head 'no' to him.
She keeps moving forward ignoring the howling wind. The storm has begun. Her long hair flies everywhere as she keeps struggling against the wind and then she stops, stops right behind the man who keeps punching the tree trunk with all his might.
"What's wrong with you?!" She shouts at him and his back stiffens.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" She asks again.
He remains silent and clenches his fists beside him.
"You ignored me since the beginning of it. You pushed me away when I wanted to get any closer to you. You left the country without even thinking twice about me. You never replied to any of my emails. Still.. still I stayed. I waited. I always waited Manik." Her voice breaks. Vulcan takes a sharp intake.
"But now I am tired. I can't take it anymore. One moment you become crazy without me the next moment you're avoiding me, not talking to me, not even looking at my face. What have I ever done to you?!" She asks on the verge of breaking down.
"Why? Why did you hurt Arjun like that? Why does it bother you if someone else comes to my rescue, if someone else cares for me? You.. you are just a hypocrite! Look at yourself, you can't even look at my face!" She sighs and a roar of thunder breaks through the sky followed by drops of rain pouring down the earth. A sad chuckle leaves through her mouth.
"Anyway, I wish you a happy life because once I leave this premise this weekend, I hope you never get to see my face ever again, we never get to meet each other ever again. Atleast you won't be hurting people on my expense then." By this time she was drenched and he was dripping wet as well. She finally felt defeated, every bit of optimism leaving her body and with that she places her hands on the wheels again but before she could move an inch the beast of a man turns around and falls on his knees infront of her. A gasp leaves through her mouth as her eyes fall agaisnt the pained grey eyes.
"Take your words back. Please." He pleads.
"I..I...." Pihu stutters failing to form anything coherent, when he suddenly brings her right hand and places it against his beating heart.
"I.... I can't breathe without you. How will I survive without seeing you?" He asks as drops of tears fall out of his eyes. Pihu keeps looking at his face feeling overwhelmed by the emotions his eyes are exuding. She sees how his mind spirals everywhere and comes to a conclusion. As if he has found a solution. He straightens his back and looks at her face once again.
"Okay, see, I won't hurt him. I won't hurt Arjun. I.. I will stay far.... far away from him. But I need to see you okay? Need to look at you. I won't come infront of you I promise. I'll see you from afar, you won't even realize I was there. How does it sound?" He asks looking at her hopefully but she feels totally speechless.
How broken is this man? How broken?
"Please?" He pleads and when she still remains silent he instinctively raises his hands cupping her face and bringing it close to his. The red hue in his eyes are screaming of the pain he is going through. The falling droplets of rain make him look even more broken.
