Chapter 2

Samantha

"So do you think any of them are attractive? Because you know that all of the boys here don't like me for me." I asked my brother. I feel really excited because Ben always has good ideas and since there are two boys, one of them has to be cute.

"Samantha," he gave me the 'you can't date them' look, "you know mom and dad would never except it." I scoffed.

"Mom would. She believes in second chances and never judge a book by its cover." I stuck my tongue out at him and crossed me arms.

Finally the doors to the limousine were open and the two boys fell out. They're already idiots. I face palmed and laughed as they froze and looked at us. Oh my godmother, they're attractive. The taller boy threw everything back into the car and shut the door.

"Well hello there, the name's Jay," he flirted with Audrey. He didn't even notice me. Audrey just hugged Ben and then he looked at me. I waved and smiled and stuck out my hand.

"I'm Samantha but you can call me anytime," I winked and thought it would be good to be funny so I laughed, throwing my head back. Jay grabbed my hand and kissed before turning back to the other kids.

"I like this girl," he pointed to me and I just shook my head and turned to Fairy Godmother.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep! I am Fairy Godmother and headmistress," she said.

"You mean the Fairy Godmother? Like bibbity bobbity boo?" The girl with purple hair asked. I love her hair. Purple is my favorite color.

"Bibbity bobbity you know it!"  Whatever else they said, I toned out because it had nothing to do with me. Suddenly, I heard my name and I decided to listen. "Well Samantha, Ben and Audrey will give you all a tour and I will see you tomorrow!" She said and walked who knows where with the band.

Ben gave a little introduction and I rolled my eyes but waved at the boy with white hair who I guessed was Cruella De Vil's son. He waved back and then I wiped my mouth to show him he had chocolate there. He started freaking out while Mal and Audrey were talking.

Ben clapped at our fathers statue and it changed. Carlos screamed and jumped into Jay's arms who stumbled back and hit me. "Ow," I complained and punched Jay's back.

"Sorry, Sam. It's Carlos' fault!" Jay said dropping Carlos back on the ground and giving me a side hug.

"Carlos it's alright, my father wanted it to morph from man to beast to prove that anything is possible." Ben explained to all of them before walking away. Carlos still looked scared and clapped twice at my fathers statue.

"Let me," I clapped and it was a man again. "Now go catch up with them," I pushed him and we ran away towards the group.

"So you guys have a lot of magic here at Auradon. Like wands and things like that?" Mal, girl with the purple hair, asked Ben and I found it quite suspicious how she had mentioned the wand several times.

"Yeah, it exists, of course, but it's pretty much retired. Most of us here are ordinary mortals," my brother said, his arm hooked with Audrey's.

"Unfortunately," I added and the kids smiled at me. They were nice and funny. Unlike the kids here who are snotty nosed kids.

"Who happen to be kings and queens?" Mal asked again. I laughed and nodded. Never really thought of it that way. Then Audrey interrupted.

"That's true. Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years." She laughed and forced my brothers arm around her. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Jay laughed at me and secretly gave me a high five.

Ben sees Doug and calls him down. I actually like Doug. Yeah, he is a bit oblivious sometimes but he is actually really smart and nice and funny. He was one of my few friends that I had here. I wave at him and he smiles, walking down the stairs.

"This is Doug. He is gonna help you with your class schedules and show you your dorms," Ben says introducing my friend. I go and hug Doug. "I'll see you later, okay?" He said mainly towards Mal. "And if you have any questions-" Audrey interrupted, again.

"Ask Doug or Samantha. I'm sure out of the two of them, you won't need Bens help," she dragged him off, shooting dagger eyes at Mal.

"Bye Ben. Tell mom that I'll be home in a few hours." I waved after my brother and his devilish girlfriend.
