3rd person pov

~with hoseok and taehyung~

“Taehyung, I think you’ll like it here. The room is spacious, and the bathroom’s just been renovated. You can arrange your things however you like,” J-Hope said with a gentle smile. The omega stepped into the room, cradling the small child in his arms. “Thank you. You may leave now,” he replied coldly, making the alpha sigh.“Tae, I know things didn’t start well between us, and I treated you terribly,” J-Hope began, his voice tinged with remorse. “But I’ve changed. I swear I have. I regret everything, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make it right, to earn your forgiveness.”

Taehyung met his gaze, his eyes sharp and unwavering as they locked onto J-Hope’s. Only then did he speak, his voice calm but resolute. “I appreciate your honesty… but I no longer believe in words. Only in actions.”The alpha gave a slow, understanding nod.“And now, please leave,” the omega continued, his attention shifting to the small boy in his arms. “I need to put Draco to sleep—he’s very tired.”The child slept soundly, nestled close against his chest.

After J-Hope had left the room, Taehyung gently laid Draco on the bed, pulling the blanket over the boy’s small frame. He made sure he was warm, then quietly undressed and stepped into the bathroom. A cold shower—that’s what he needed to calm his racing thoughts. But peace would not come easily. No matter how cold the water ran, it couldn't wash away the turmoil inside him. His mind was trapped, playing the fight with Jungkook over and over like a broken reel of film. When he was done, he dried his body with a towel, carried out his nightly routine in silence, and got dressed. He began arranging his things in the room—folding clothes, placing items carefully, almost ritualistically. When he finally finished, he smiled faintly to himself. “Everything’s in its place now,” he murmured, before sitting down at the desk.

Outside, the moon had climbed high into the night sky, its soft glow casting silver patterns across the floor. A gentle breeze tapped against the windowpane. All was quiet. Still. The world seemed at peace.
All but his mind.
Within him, chaos brewed. No matter how far he pushed against Jungkook, no matter how harsh the words or cold the distance, he knew—deep down—that his feelings would not change.

Taehyung's pov

Sleep wouldn’t come. No matter how long I lay there, eyes closed, breathing steady, my mind refused to quiet. So I rose and wandered through the house, letting my feet guide me in silence. It was well past two in the morning, and the wooden floor creaked softly beneath each step as I moved down the dimly lit hallway.Every motion felt mechanical, like my body was moving on its own, detached from thought or will. And before I fully realized it, I found myself standing before a door—an old wooden one, carved with intricate designs that reminded me of enchanted doors from fairy tales.I hesitated.Just for a moment. Then, gathering the courage, I pushed it open.

What I saw inside stole my breath.A room straight out of a storybook—warm, ancient, secret. I had discovered the pack’s library. Towering bookshelves lined the walls like dominos, each crammed with volumes. A wooden ladder leaned gently nearby, waiting to be climbed.I stepped deeper into the darkened room and found a small sitting area tucked in the back: two large armchairs and a worn footstool. I was just about to sit when a voice broke the silence.“What are you doing here at this hour?”

I froze.

I knew that voice.

Too well.

But I didn’t turn to look at him.

“Why aren’t you asleep?” he asked again, his tone low and shadowed.“I couldn’t sleep… probably too much tension,” I replied, finally lowering myself into one of the chairs—its back to the alpha behind me.Footsteps approached, steady, measured. And then a figure appeared before me.“You don’t have permission to be in here,” he said coldly.I scoffed, raising my eyes to meet his without flinching.“Cut the crap, Jungkook. We both know your parents don’t have a problem that I’m here.”
