I see her,
Sitting on a bench afar a beach,
Looking towards the sun setting into sleep,
Reflected through her sanguined attire
Dressing that perfect skin yet beauty skin deep.
She looks so perfect,
Admiring the faded blues of the sky,
Faded by the presence of her admiration and herself.
She looks at me and smiles,
Again fading all the blues prevailed on me.
I sit besides staring further to try and feel
Her vibes from a while.
She turns to me and says,
"Wow! You are wearing blue,
I just love you."
My heart raced and my conscience whewed.
Then after a pause she continued,
"This wasn't supposed to be heard on phone
Kit! I am in love. I love him so very much.
He loves me a lot too
Makes me feel like a queen
So much care, I have never seen.
And Yes! He is a bit jealous of you
But doesn't that mean
He loves me too very much?"
My grounds shudder and my heart screams,
But then I look at her face which gleams.
Hope not anymore, mine
She is not mine to love.
I smile, and say, "It does. I am happy for you Hope"
But not for me, My mind says to me.
Since, I have lost you,
I have lost me too.
