Red to Orange

The lampshade glistens with an orange,

And suddenly the lights seem strange.

Aching through the reds,

To get more yellows,

To tangerine from fade,

From a fad to reality.

Bleeding into my eyes,

Pouring out a verve of a daisy.

Yes! the pale has cut my passion,

Loathing the dark manipulating gumption.

I see lights as I feel,

I see things around from my inside reel.

So, now that I have got an orange,

I will tint the red away.

Now that I see more light,

I will let it in, if it may.
