Burn the bridge

The whisper of my heart,

Into my faint, unconscious mind said,

"You were almost dead,

But now you are alive.

You were in darkness.

But now, walk towards the light.

& when you come out alive,

Of such a bad fall,

Just be happy

& burn the bridge.

From now to the past,

Burn the bridge of old pains,

Linking to your fall,

Making you take the call,

& take one step out the window,

For the fall.

So, exorcise these ghosts,

Which say your life isn't precious enough.

Just burn the bloody bridge,

Walk towards the light,

Walk towards tomorrow,

Without the past clinging, driving you to your sorrow.
