There was a day,

Which had started in thoughts of red,

From before the passed night.

There was a way,

Where I met you with my eyes open,

But dreaming in plain sight.

There was a time,

When red was all I could see,

It was all that made me feel.

There were vibes sublime,

When even getting hurt in love,

Was a beautiful lie but unreal.

There was a stranger,

I thought was red.

There was a lover,

Who was in the story falsely betrayed.

There was a love,

I left unsaid.

There was a life,

Where I had thought,

Without you,

I was dead.
