You vs my other dream

Separate ways, we walked,

We didn't want to

But life likes 

Giving us challenges.

In our list of priorities,

One priority fulfilled,

Scraped the priority,

Above on the list.

We let a priority above stripped off and thrown,

Because it stood in the way of fulfilled priority

Just because we were not sure

Whether it is possible.

We just let go

Because our other dreams stood

In the way of

Us being together.

Though your were my priority before my other dream,

To be with you forever,

Was my prayer.

Even then I let you go,

Cause, we were not even sure about,

You and me

Becoming an 'Us'.

The lack of surety made it just an impossible dream.

So, I caught the other opportunity,

Which took me far away,

From you.

And I let you go,

Just cause I weighed a fulfilled dream

More important than

A mere probability of 'Us' .

And years later,


I will repent.


Cause I left my mere chance with you,


Because of a non significant dream!
