Expectations

I expected you to wait,

I expected you to wipe tears off my cheeks,

I expected you to stand by me,

When I would have fixed myself.

I expected all that I would do,

For you.

I forgot I would go to any lengths for you,

But when it comes to me, you won't.

No! it is not your fault,

It is mine.

I expected,

Something which I would do,

Not you.
