*It's been a few days since the last chapter. The world kept turning, Naruto kept growing, and Anko kept raising him. We see them in their little apartment, having breakfast, this time being oatmeal with fruits on top, a side of grapefruit, and milk to wash it all down. Anko was reading the local newspaper as they ate, reading about how the hospitals of Konoha have become 6% more efficient since Kagura has taken charge and the number is surely gonna grow the longer she stays, That's when it happened. Naruto got curious about something.*
Naruto: Hey Mom?
Anko: Hm?
*Anko hummed as a response, without taking her eyes off the newspaper, she flipped the page, and took out the grocery parts of the newspaper to the side, which was filled with coupons that she would cut later. For now, she's concentrating on the news, like the fact that people are seeing the police force in a new light now that it's not just the Uchiha looking after them all. People do feel safer with the Yamanaka calming presence around. Naruto said his question, one that Anko knew the response to by heart.*
Naruto: Why don't you like politicians?
Anko: cause they're demons who take the shape of humans, who talk from both sides of their mouths. Why?
*Anko asked as she stopped reading the news and looked at her son. Sure, Anko knew that technically speaking what she said also included Hiruzen, but Anko knows how to do this magical thing that's called "separating the art from the artist." It's the same reason why the author still loves Michael Jackson's music, even if we know that he went to that island. Ejem. Anko is the same, seeing Hiruzen more like Naruto's grandfather than the Leader of this village. Naruto crunched up his face in thought, in a way that Anko found adorable as she ate her food.*
Naruto: Well, you know how a few days ago you left me to spend some time with Ino, and the other girls?
Anko: Yeah?
*Anko asked wondering where Naruto was going with this. I mean sure, the Yamanaka were part of the council of shinobi, so technically they were also a political clan, but they haven't done any real damage with the laws they've sponsored or made. Most of their laws were about the conservation of nature, and Anko can get behind that. It's not like their the uncaring pieces of human excrement that are the politicians of the civilian council. Naruto thought of his first interaction with Sakura Haruno, the girl of the family that his mother told him never to be around. Since their a political family.*
Naruto: Well, Sakura Haruno was one of those girls, and she seemed nice. She was a little weirded out that I dressed in a sundress and had long hair. But she still seemed nice.
Anko: Ah yes. They all seem nice at first. But baby, you have to see their actions, not their words before you come to that conclusion. I'm sure Sakura is a nice girl. But she's gonna turn up just like her parents.
*Anko said with a small frown on her face, thinking on the Haruno family, they're bills are mostly about complete isolationism and industrialization by destroying the forests and caves for their natural resources, they've constantly spoke about dismantling the programs that Anko uses to help her raise Naruto, and the programs that millions who need a helping hand use, since "the people using those programs are just lazy welfare queens." They hate Kumogakure not because their a rival village but because their skin is of the dark variety, of course, they'll deny it, but everybody knows that's the reason. They're monsters in human skins who only care about the people who sponsor their reelection. Naruto looked at his mother confused since he was too naive and Anko kept him sheltered from politics to know any of this.*
Naruto: How do you know?
Anko: Because you're turning up to be like me, an anarchist who has problems with society and its rules.
