*It's been days since the last chapter, and Anko was doing what she thought was best for today. Which was ignoring the issue at hand about the made-up learning disability that the teacher wanted to label her son with. So, with her day off, she was going to keep her promise to little Naruto and take her baby boy to the local lake to spend some time in the sun. They opened their door right in the middle of a conversation between their neighbors Kagura or how Naruto calls her "the pretty lady" and Kagura's right-hand man Bando. A beast of a man who was at least a foot taller than Ibiki. Bando sighed, annoyed that the landlady was giving them the runaround with the issue of having hot water.*
Bando: Well, boss. I talked to that landlord lady, she said she would fix the water in like a week or 2
Anko: She's been telling me that for 5 years now, but sure. Go ahead and believe her. Hi. Anko Mitarashi
*Anko said amused as she's glad she's not the only one suffering thanks to the cheapness of the landlady, honestly everybody had issues with her, but nobody could do anything about it, since 1 they didn't have the money or influence to get her to do her damn job, seeing as their living close to the red light district, aka the people who live in these apartment, were close to the poverty levels. Or if you do influence anko has with Hiruzen, the woman was an actual snake, and always manages to get away legally so even the hands of the hokage were tied, since the civilian council has jurisdiction on the housing part of konoha, and wouldn't you know it the landlady Mino Sumiko, was a part of the civilian council. So the only real option was saving enough to one day leave this place. Bando looked at the purple hair and gave the woman his hand to shake.*

*Bando said as Anko shook his hand, it was rather cold to the touch. Both of them heard of the other from Kagura talking about them in passing, but this was the first time they'd ever met. Anko was confused by the name. It was the first time she heard of such a name, and it sounded more foreign than anything. While in the background, Naruto was in his swimming shorts, smiling brightly at Kagura and waving at her. Kagura gave the boy a small smile back and waved back at him, making Naruto giggle a little. Back to Anko, she couldn't help but ask the question about the name of the large orange-haired man.*
Anko: That's quite the name. What village is it from?
Bando: What would you say if I told you that it's none? That is a name from a different language on the other side of the globe. A whole different continent.
*Bando said with a small grin, as they all heard the large gasp from the child. Naruto looked at the giant with stars in his eyes since this was something new. Naruto had no idea there was a world outside of the elemental nations, the globe they had in school only had water on the other side, so he wanted to learn so much more, but Naruto was a polite boy, so he didn't speak out of turn. Anko chuckled, since that was ridiculous, sure they were islands at the very borders of the elemental nations, but a whole other continent? That was pretty hard to believe.*
