Author note: Finally got my new portable battery, so y'all get an extra chapter this week. What happened to my old one? I had a bad day and I smashed it against the wall. (I'm the throw-things type of angry) But hey, new chapter  so yay └( ﾟ∀ﾟ)┘

*It's been a few days since Kushina returned to Konoha. In those days Anko had been going through her life as normally as possible, trying her best not to be triggered by the woman who wanted her son dead. While Anko's life in Konoha hasn't changed all that much, you can't say the same for Naruto for one big reason. His uncle Kakashi has been with him every day to make sure he was protected or dashed away from any area where Kushina was around. Today was no different, it was a cloudy day in Konoha, and it had just rained a while ago and we saw Kakashi and Naruto together in a forest.*

Naruto: So the 4th Hokage was fast?

Kakashi: the fastest. He could be from here to the other side of the elemental nations in the blink of an eye

*Kakashi said with a chuckle, as he continued to talk about Naruto's father without telling Naruto the whole truth. While he agreed with Hiruzen and Anko's assessment that Naruto was just too young to know about the truth, that didn't mean Kakashi couldn't tell the boy stories of the 4th Hokage I mean, after all, Minato was his teacher. Naruto who was currently wearing not a snake-themed poncho, or a monkey-themed poncho, but a toad-themed poncho that Kakashi gifted him, looked at his Uncle Kakashi with huge eyes, since he wanted to be that fast when he grew up.*

Naruto: Whoa! Am I gonna be that fast when I become a shinobi?!

Kakashi: Hm.. that is a possibility. But you'll have to wait till you are 16 since the training for it is very intense.

*Kakashi said honestly since even now Kakashi couldn't do the flying Raijin technique that Minato was famous for, nor could any pure-blooded Uchiha, since their glowing red eyes could only copy so much. There were certain things that it couldn't do for several reasons of the holder, for Kakashi's case, it was because he simply didn't understand space-time ninjutsu, it was a rare field of study that very few even knew about. He looked at Naruto and wondered if he'd even be interested in learning it when he grew up. As for Naruto, he gave a little whine, since he was 5 that was 11 years away.*

Naruto: That's a long time away

Kakashi: Nah. It'll come sooner than you realize. Do you wanna know something else about that silly man?

*Kakashi asked wanting to change the conversation and without any trouble it worked, since Naruto's mind was already ready for another conversation, it was always ready for the next question, to look upon the world with wonder, and wanting to know it all. Some may say a healthy version of how a certain snake wants to learn every jutsu in the world, but we're not going there yet. Naruto looked excited to learn something new as he nodded his head emphatically.*

Naruto: uhu!

Kakashi: he had such an obsession with amphibians like toads.

*Kakashi said as he looked at Naruto in his toad-themed umbrella with a small smirk, even if Minato never spoke about it, Kakashi knew who Minato wanted to to be the next holder of the toad contract, shame that won't be possible now, since by marriage Kushina Uzumaki Namikaze now has a hold of that scroll and she gets to decide who'll be the next holder. He can only hope that Narumi treats that role with the respect it deserves. While Kakashi was busy thinking of the future, Naruto was busy in the present as he looked at his little green poncho that had a smiling toad on its face.*

Naruto: Oh! Is that why I'm wearing a toad poncho?

Kakashi: And the little umbrella is a toad in design. He gave them both to me when I was a little older than you.
