In the fire capital.

*It was a peaceful day in the capital of fire. As it was every day, since nobody would be dumb enough to attack the place where a daimyō lives. The scene is set in the Uzumaki household, where we saw Tsunade Senju and Kushina Uzumaki talking to each other having tea, which costs more than what anko makes in a year, while they were drinking the maids of Kushina were walking around them packing up clothes and other items for the trip Kushina will be making with her children. Tsunade looked at Kushina with a raised eyebrow, wondering if she had misheard Kushina about where she was going and how long she would be gone.*

Tsunade: So how long will you be gone?

Kushina: I don't know. A week or 2, 4 weeks max. Are you sure you don't want to come with us?

*Kushina said with a soft smile, she didn't want to leave Tsunade all alone in the capital, knowing that Tsunade would spend all her time in pachinko machines as she keeps burning a hole in the almost unlimited amount of money of the Senju bank accounts. Since in this timeline, Tsunade left before she even met Shizune, she doesn't know that there's still a living connection to the love of her life, Dan Katō. Tsunade shook her head at the notion of her returning to such a cursed village after only being away for 5 years. That wasn't nearly enough time for Tsunade to get over all the people she lost because of it. There were better ways Tsunade could waste her time than going there.*

Tsunade: Spending a month in Konoha? Yeah. I would rather have Orochimaru jam Rusty nails under my fingernails than do that.

Kushina: What a lovely mental picture. You know you'll have to return one day, right?

*Kusbina said gently as she accidentally spilled her teacup, wasting enough money that it would give Anko a heart attack if it had happened to her. But Kushina just shrugged it off as she picked up the cup and poured herself another cup. Already a new maid came and cleaned the accidental spill, putting it out of sight and out of mind for Tsunade and Kushina. Tsunade took a deep breath and then sighed since she knew Kushina was telling the truth. The Uzumaki would be returning to Konoha when the twins are genin age, and Tsunade wanted to stay with them since they were the closest thing to family that she had left.*

Tsunade: Yeah, yeah. When the girls are made into genin. But until then? I'm just not ready to face that village.

Kushina: That's fine. It's still years before you have to do it.

*Kushina said with a kind smile, since she knew that Tsunade had her demons that she wasn't strong enough to face yet, so did Kushina since she still hadn't fully accepted the death of Minato. A small part of her still believes that she'll wake up and Minato will be there on the bed with him, but he never is. So Kushina wasn't going to force Tsunade to face her past, when Kushina isn't prepared to face her own. One of the maids walked up to the two and bowed before speaking.*

Maid: Lady Kushina. Your luggage is prepared and in the carriage. Your children are waiting.

Kushina: Thank you. I'll be right there.

*Kushina said, as the maid stood up straight and left. Kushina sighed as she grabbed the scroll on the table that had the broken seal of the Hokage ordering his shinobi to return to the village for an internal mission. She put it away and then walked up to Tsunade. Both of them opened their arms and gave the other a hug as a goodbye. They let go of each other and smiled at the other, a little sadly that they would be away from each other. In the last 5 years, both have been pillars of support for the other.*

Kushina: Well. I'll see you in a month from now.

Tsunade: Yeah. Don't let that old bastard bully you, you hear?
