Author note: yeah. Some people are not gonna like how I did this chapter and that's ok. But it is how I think this interaction would go. As they say "The sound of the universe's end will not be the trumpet of doom, but the rustle of leaves as all things fall to dust." Let's get started.

*You could hear a pin drop, in that room, as the 3 adults who all wanted what was best for Naruto looked at each other. Hiruzen was more or less resigned to letting Anko take the reins. Anko who was looking at Kushina with a furious expression on her face since who the fuck did this woman think she was, acting like she could make choices that she had no right to take, and finally Kushina. The woman was blindsided by these new developments and was in a state of shock over what she had just heard. She prayed to every God that existed those known and those that were forgotten by time that she heard wrong and asked a question that she dreaded from the growing pit of her stomach.*

Kushina: What... what did you just say?

Anko: The truth. I adopted Naruto the very night you left him. I stopped him from being fed to the wolves, it was because of me that people think that the body of you're husband has the soul and body of the 9-tailed beast, to protect Naruto. I. am. His. Mother. Has been for the last 5 years and you are not taking him from me.

*Anko said in an angry tone as she continued to glare holes into the forehead of Kushina. Kushina wasn't the one who stayed awake long into the night, because Naruto couldn't sleep and all he did was cry, that was anko, she wasn't the one who had to skip meals just to make sure she had enough money to buy baby formula for her baby, seriously why is that life saving powder so expensive, Anko was the one who did thay, anko was the one who took naruto to the hospital she is the one who did it all while struggling in the low class while Kushina lived it up in high class. Kushina's mind wasn't back yet as she tried to get a word in.*

Kushina: But.

Anko: But nothing! I don't care what you have to say about it! I don't care if you bring the fucking fire lord here and he tells me to give up my rights as His mother, I will slap him in the face and tell him no. Nobody is taking Naruto from me.

*Anko growled, she would first become a missing Nin never knowing another moment of peace, always having to be on the run, then give up her rights. She would rather return to Orochimaru and be used as a lab rat again than give up her rights. She would rather have sex with a politician and sell her morals than give up her rights. Anko has the documentation, that showed that in the eyes of the law, Naruto was a Mitarashi. Kushina was blinking rapidly at the news, as she still couldn't believe it.*

Kushina: You... You adopted him.

Anko: I did. I adopted him i was there when he took his first steps, I was there when he said his first words which were "Mom" he called me Mom because that's what I am. Not you. Me! I have been there for every single event of his life and will continue to be there till I'm dead.

*Anko said with an air of finality on this topic. She won't attack Kushina physically cause she didn't need to and a little because she knows the Anbu will protect the precious high class. But she didn't need to, Anko had said her peace she said her truth, and the truth of the world. Naruto was her son. Naruto was staying with her, and Kushina? She can rot for all that Anko cares. Kushina could feel a panic attack coming. As she blinked faster and tried to say something, the words refused to escape her lips.*

Kushina: I... I... I...

Anko: What? You thought that Naruto would just sit and rot in an orphanage until you came to you're senses? No. He is an amazing child, MY amazing child. Not some fucking doll that you can pick back up because you suddenly realized that you're mistake.
