"I believe that I am very capable of doing this job because it really is not just a job to me. Teaching these kids, interacting with them, knowing them is something I want to do because I believe I can help them learn, and I love working with children. They always have special in my heart for some reason." I said it to the principal of the school.

Malapit ng matapos yung interview and this was the part where I had to talk about how awesome I am.

I didn't feel so awesome tho.

"Well okay then!" Mr. Intal said and got up from his chair to shake my hand. Tumayo na din ako and shook his.

"I don't usually do this on the spot Ms. Reyes, but you are hired."

Buti napigilan ko yung bibig ko kung hindi nagtititili na ko dito sa loob ng office ni Mr. Intal. Sa tangkad kong to, parang di ata bagay.

All this time akala ko pangit yung kalalabasan nitong interview na to dahil sa mood ko.

The guilt was overpowering me and it made me feel like I was about to cry at any second. Kasi iniisip ko pa din sya, yung ginawa ko sa kanya.

The sadness and frustration struck me every time na parang ako yung nakakaramdam non at hindi sya.

"Wow... uhm... thank you, Sir!" I said and smiled genuinely now.

I got the job! The job that I really wanted!  Well I'm really planning to take my MD Program here para maging psychiatrist ako but I think this is a good start. It exposes me to my possible future clients.

"You are very welcome." Binitawan nya yung kamay ko and pumunta sa tabi ko. "Now let me take you over to the secretary so we can get some paper work done, if that's alright with you?"

"Okay po. Thank you so much!"

Mr. Intal smiled again. He just got his EdD title a year ago, he was an alumni from Ateneo de Manila University. Former UAAP men's volleyball player during his early college years. At hindi lang basta player, he was back-to-back MVP lang naman. 

Despite all his achievements in life he remained humble and nice. I heard he's engaged too.
