"Hmm, Kuya Kief?" Kierra asked. I don't know what's up every time Kierra calls Kiefer 'Kuya' but I think it's cute.

"Yup?" He said with his attention on the bowl of soup in front of him.

We ordered food from Lugang, but Kiefer can only have the soup, he's having a crabmeat and corn soup. Pwede naman syang kumain nitong food namin but his sugar levels kasi are not where they are supposed to be, so he has to find a way to help it.

I got so nervous nung nalaman ko na his sugar levels are not in the normal range.

"Will I get in trouble po ba if I step on a langgam and it dies?"

He shook his head and medyo natawa. "Of course not, you can't help it."

She let out a sigh that sounds like kanina pa nya iniipon. "Okay... good. Because kasi I stepped on one langgam kahapon during recess time and Gavin told me I will get in a big big big trouble if may makaka-found out."

"Boys are stupid and ugly, bunso. Never forget that." He said finally looking up from his food to look her dead in the eye.

I rolled my eyes.

"Don't tell her things like that nga, Kiefskie." Ate Denise said.

I am so happy that she's spending dinner with us tonight. Wala kasi sya lagi dito sa Manila because she had been spending more time with her kids which we super understand naman.

Kiefer just shrugged and I chuckled.

"Hindi naman forever baby tong si baby girl eh." I told him.

He looked up at me and just shook his head as if convincing himself and I na hindi totoo yung sinabi ko.

I laughed at him from across the table. Gusto ko sana umupo sa tabi nya but Kierra has that spot lagi and it's nice having a clear view of him the whole time we're eating.

I'm sitting next to Ate with Kierra and Kiefer across from us.

"Well I know you're just nagsisinungaling, Manong. Because even though you are ugly, I know Kuya Bry was veeery gwapo, right Ate?" Kierra asked sweetly.

Kiefer didn't look hurt from Kierra's insult because she is obviously nakikipagkkulitan lang sa kanya.

He looked up to Ate, and he got a worried look on his face. I looked over to her as well. I never heard her speak of Kuya Bryan, I only heard of him from Kiefer.

"Yes, Mimi he is gwapo. Veeery gwapo." She said sadly but the tinge of pure love in her voice kind of altered it.

I looked over at Kiefer who's keeping his eyes on Ate, probably checking to see if she is really okay. I looked at him and I thought about what Ate must be feeling.
