Mika

"Ma? Pa?" I said as I tried to get my parents attention as Kiefer and I started walking closer to them, hand in hand.

Kierra stopped talking and faced me along with my parents. I saw Mama look Kiefer up and down, and by the look on her face, muka naman nagustuhan nya yung nakita nya.

"Uhm, this is Kiefer po." I looked over at Kief and he has a small smile on his face. "Kief, these are my parents."

Kiefer held on tighter to my hand and stepped forward with his hand outstretched to Papa. I watched in amazement.

"Ito na ba yung gago?" Papa asked.

"Papa!" "Manuelito!" Sabay namin sinabi ni Mama.

I felt Kiefer stiffed and mukang namutla pa ata.

"What? Yun yung nasa cellphone ng anak mo. Diba Mika?"

Pinanlakihan ko na lang ng mata si Papa.

"Good afternoon po, Sir. Uhm... nice to meet you po." He said and offered Papa his hand.

Papa studied his face and grabbed onto his hand. Kiefer's other hand squeezed onto my hand impossibly tight. It hurt a little but I will not ruin the moment for him. Kayang-kaya nya to.

"Nice to meet you, too, Kiefer. Stop calling me Sir, do I look like a teacher? Call me Tito Lito." Papa said. They both let go of each other's hands and I have a huge smile on my face.

"Ah, yes... yes po, Tito. Tito Lito."

"Mukang mabait yung kapatid mo."

Kiefer laughed softly. "She is po."

"Namana ba sayo?" Kiefer let out a small chuckle. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung kaba nya sa pagkakahawak nya sa kamay ko. "So, you raised her yourself?" Papa asked.

I gave him a warning look. That is too much for a first meeting but Kiefer doesn't seem to mind that much.

"Uh yes po, Sir... I mean, Tito. Yes po, I raised her by myself po." He said.

"You did a good job." Papa said.

"Thank you, Sir." Kiefer said and hindi na nya nabawi yung Sir. What a cutie.

Their little moment was interrupted by loud laughing coming from our side. Mama and Kierra are both laughing about something and I can see an interesting partnership being created.

Tonight can get interesting.

"Mama," I said. She looked over to me. "Si Kiefer po. Aren't you going to say hi? Since kanina nyo pa sya hinahanap."

"Nako itong anak ko talaga... ang daldal!" Then she laughed. My God, Mama. She walked up to us and gave Kiefer a hug. He didn't let go of my hand, but he wrapped his other one around her. "Hi, hijo! Sorry naaliw ako masyado sa kapatid mo. She's so brilliant for a six year old ha. And very pretty too."

He chuckled. "Completely understandable po." He said with a loving look towards Kierra who is now speaking with Papa again.

It seems she's not going to stop talking. I'm glad she got along with Mama and Papa though. Maybe that can make Kief calm down a little as well.

"Aww, that's sweet, hijo. And by the way, call me Tita okay? Tita Bhaby." Mama said.

It's hard to tell, but I know Kiefer just blushed and I smiled and contained myself to kiss his cheek. My parents are here. Composure, Mika. Composure.
