On the way to our destination, we talked about random stuff. She asked me more of my favorites, and I asked them back to her.

I found myself always wanting to know more.

I just love hearing her talk. Her voice has this soothing effect on me.

After almost 2 hours of travel, we made it to where I wanted to take her. I parked my car outside of the cabin.

Tumingin sya sa may bintana with a curious look on her face. "Uhm, Kief... saan na tayo?"

"This is the part where I kidnap you and lock you in that cabin." I said with a serious tone.

She mockingly laughed at me. Of course she knew I was joking.

But I know how bad it must have looked. I asked her to go somewhere with me and I take her to a cabin in the middle of nowhere. That is some serial killer shit right there.

No but actually we're in some part of Rizal.

Medyo malayo sa bayan. I think this is the boundary yata of Cainta and Taytay.

Lumabas na kami pareho sa kotse.

As we were walking to the door of the cabin, I felt her hand on my arm. At first nagulat ako, pero hindi ko pinahalata. Then slowly I felt myself relaxing.

She wrapped both of her arms around mine.

Hindi ako sanay sa ganito. Shit, Shit. Shit.

I looked at her and she had a small smile on her face. I couldn't ask her to let go. Not if I can bring that kind of smile to her face.

Just as long as she doesn't touch my hands, we're good.

Binuksan ko yung lock ng cabin with the key that I have with me. I opened the door and led Mika inside.

It's a simple cabin.

May one bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom.

"Wow, it's really nice here. Ang cozy yung ambiance." She commented as she kept looking around. Her arms still wrapped around mine.

"Hmm-mm, it is nice."

"How did you get this?" She asked, still looking around.

"Actually hindi sakin to. Si Ate Denise yung may-ari nito. Mayaman kasi yung family nila and this is one of their properties na binigay nila kay Ate as a gift. And Ate, being an angel that she is, let me have this place to use as an escape I guess. Tho hindi ako lagi napunta dito, minsan lang din."

I remember the last time I came here was when I had my last episode. Nung iniwan kong mag-isa si Kierra sa condo.

"I bring Kierra here to go fishing mostly." I said.

"Meron kayong pond?"

"Yup. Sa may likod. You want to go?"

A smile spread on her face. I guess she like the idea of the pond. "Yes! Please, I love the water."

"Let's go then."

She kept her grip on my arm as we walked through the cabin to the back door.
