She's sitting on one of the benches around the mall when I saw her.

The wind is blowing around her and I watch as her short pixie cut hair is blowing softly with it. I want to touch it at that very moment. How can a girl be that delicate and beautiful?

She's looking down and I think she's busy fiddling her phone, and I seriously just couldn't wait to see her face.

Naunang maglakad sakin si Kierra papunta kay Mika.

Mukang nakikita ko na mangyayari kay Mika mamaya. She will never hear the end of my baby sister's rants and stories, I just know it.

For some reason, I don't think Mika would mind.

"Hi! Hello! Excuse me! Teacher Mika, it's Kierra." She told Mika as she waved her hand to catch her attention.

Pakahyper nako.

Actually, the ride up here was mostly spent with me telling Kierra about Mika.

And Kierra being Kierra, ang dami nyang tanong. It made the one hour ride to the mall feel like forever.

Mika finally revealed her beautiful face to me when she looked behind her at Kierra's words.

A breathtaking smile appeared on her face and I can't help but smile too.

I swear I smiled these past couple of weeks than I have in the last couple of years.

Hindi na ko nagulat nung tuluyan tumakbo si Kierra papunta kay Mika.

Mika stood up and Kierra gave her a big hug.

I'm gonna lie if I say I don't envy her ability to touch someone because I do. Sana ako din kaya kong yakapin ng ganon si Mika.

I don't know why I couldn't but maybe I could.

Mika hugged her back with just as much enthusiasm.

"I remember you po!" Kierra yelled and started bouncing up and down. Sobrang kulit.

"I remember you din!" Mika said. She grabbed Kierra's hands and started swaying it.

Damn, since when my life is infested with overhyped girls?

"You're friends po with my Manong?" Kierra asked.

Why is she so excited about this? I would never know, but it's better than her being mean to Mika or her not wanting her to be her friend.

I want Mika to be around for a while longer.

Wait, who am I kidding? I want her to be around always.

"Yes, friends kami ni Manong mo."

"Why po?"

She laughed. "I don't know, baby girl eh. Actually yan din yung tanong ko sa sarili ko."

"So, una na ba ko? Should I leave you two now?" I asked them.

"Hmm-mm, see you later, Manong! Akin muna si Teacher Mika. Bye." Kierra said.

I chuckled and sat down on the bench.

I crossed my arms in front of me and said "whatever" while shrugging my shoulders.
