"Manong! Please can I go with you? Behave ako, promise! Please Manong, please please pleeease." Kierra is begging as she keep on pulling my shirt.

Since it's a Saturday and I don't have a class later, I decided to skip work this morning and will just check in later or maybe bukas na.

I co-own a restaurant near DLSU. Actually si Ate Denise yung other owner pero she lets me handle it more than her 'cause she trust me naman daw. I go there everyday kapag may vacant just to check. Very hands-on ako don since dun ako nakuha ng pang-finance namin ni Kierra.

And since I opted not to go there now, pupunta sana ako sa Café Verde to see Mika.

I feel bad having to leave Kierra behind for the morning, but I don't want to just show up with her there without giving Mika some kind of heads-up.

Plus alam kong maglilikot lang dun si Kierra. She probably wouldn't sit still the whole time na nandun kami.

I guess I could give her a muffin to shut her up, but that includes sugar which would make her more hyper, and then I would just get a hard time, and yeah... just not today.

"Babalik agad si Manong and then after, we can do whatever you want." I told her.

Mika usually has an early class tuwing Saturday, so she leaves at the normal time.

And actually, weekends talaga are devoted for my quality time with my sister, since we both don't have schools.

"You are a meany, Manong. Super super super meany." She said and crossed her arms and stomped out of my room.

I sighed as I finished tying my shoes and put my new black beanie on my head.

Sinundan ko si Kierra sa may living room, she's sitting on the couch with her arms crossed over her chest. She has her sprak face on.

Ate Denise is in the kitchen preparing breakfast for us.

I sat down beside her and crossed my arms as well. "Babalik nga agad ako, Kierra. Mabilis lang ako."

She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't care. Gusto ko pa rin mag-join." She's now pouting.

"I know you do, pero kasi..."

"Well ayaw mo lang talaga mag-join ako sayo because you don't like to have bitbit!" She said and snapped her head to the other side.

Taray talaga ng baby sister ko. Manang-mana kay Mama.

I bitterly laugh at my thought.

"Kierra, that's not true."

"Eh bakit nga kasi I can't join you?"
