A month passed and I went to Kolkata for two weeks. We couldn't chat for much longer as I was on roaming. I used to chat with him on Facebook through my aunt's phone.
Even he went to his hometown, Delhi for a week. He had been texting me from a relative's phone.
My birthday passed when I was in Kolkata. He had called me early in the morning to wish me and was very cheery.
April passed really fast and then came the result time in May.
We were chatting two days before the result day.
He: Hi.
Me: Hey. What's up?
He: Just chilling out. U say.
Me: I'm so tensed about the result.
He: Don't worry. U will do good.
Me: Hope so. Two more days to go.
He: Yes. But u r a studious girl. So u don't have to worry.
Me: What about u? Aren't u worried?
He: Me?? Oh, no. I'm not. I don't like taking tension unnecessarily.
Me: I dunno how can u sit relaxing when we've a heart attack to get two days later.
He: It's not a problem for me. Pass toh pass, fail toh fail.
Me: What???? R u kidding me? I mean u seriously r an idiot. I'm seeing someone who can sit colly before the result for the first time.
He: Hmm. I gotta go. Have some work.
Me: Oh, why r u going so early?
He: Told u, have an important work to do.
Me: When will u come back?
He: I dunno. Will msg u later. Bye
Me: Bye. Love u.He was gone. It was fishy. I mean, all of a sudden, he just left. I felt a little uncomfortable. But he didn't come online again that night.
The next morning I checked my phone but found no texts from him. I was upset. Why didn't he even think of texting me? I grumpily sat next to the bedroom window, staring outside.
I started pressing random buttons of my phone and finally opened the contact list. I started scrolling through the list and found the name which I wanted to see. Puneet.
