"God, I hate P.E." is the only thought running through my mind as I change into my gym kit.

I stare straight ahead, trying not to catch anyone's eye, looking no where but the slate grey lockers in front of me.

I rush out of the locker room as soon as possible, happy not to have been noticed by anyone, especially those two jocks who nearly jumped me yesterday.

I honestly would have been mincemeat, if it hadn't been for Dan, talking them out of beating me to a pulp.

"My knight in shining armour," I think dryly. Speaking of which, where is he?

I look around the track - looks like we're running again. Damn.

I spot Dan walking away from the coach towards the same bench he sat on yesterday. I give him a little wave, but he doesn't seem to notice. Also damn.

Oh gosh. He looks like he's limping a bit as he goes to sit down. I do hope he's alright.

"Ha. Look at me. Worrying about a boy I only met yesterday." My thoughts are interrupted by a call to line up. Hm, maybe we're not running after all.

"Well, we're not running," I think a moment later. "But this is arguably worse."

It's dodgeball again. Same as yesterday, only this time I've only been hit 4 times in the last minute, not 6. l must be getting better.

I'm baaaaack!!! home from my odyssey of visiting family and done with the whirlwind of auditions. and I got into the play! but now I'm juggling school and work and rehearsals so this doesn't mean regular updates. but thank so much for sticking with me and the story and also thank you so much for 14k reads?!!???!!? like OMG?!??? it still astounds me that ppl are reading this lmao
