Chapter 32.5 - Jamie's POV

So I was supposed to go to the movies with someone on Sunday but he bailed on me.  All because he had to work with the choreographer for the show and try to get some of the cast up to speed. I mean I want the show to be great and all, but sometimes it seriously cuts into personal lives.

I'm digressing.  Anyway, I ended up going to the movies by myself (which is actually kind of lonely, I didn't have anyone to talk to. 1/10 would not recommend).  I decided to go see that cheesy horror flick, Ouija?  It was pretty good. Nothing great. Super cliche, not very scary, but all the same enjoyable. 

And so I get there, I grab some food and I settle into the back of the movie theatre. The coming attractions have almost started when I see Dan walk in. I almost call out to him, cuz why watch a movie alone if you can find a friend, right?  But then I think "Don't do anything yet, this could be interesting. Just wait and see..."
Because Dan doesn't really like going to the movies that much, and he doesn't like horror films, so there's definitely a reason behind this and I definitely intend to find out.

So I put up my hood, because let's face it, green hair is pretty distinctive and I gotta be in stealth mode now.

And sure enough, like a minute and a half later, who comes walking in? Phil Lester. He pauses for a moment, like he's looking for something, then makes a beeline towards Dan.

Of course. The only thing that could get Daniel out of the house and into a movie theatre is the boy he's been pining after for the last 3 months. Kinda cute if you think about it.

And I promise I'm not like some creepy stalker. As much as I've tried to set them up over the past while, today was just wonderful coincidence. So as soon as they sit down together, I return my attention to watching the movie, which is what I actually came to do (and it was terrible and cheesy in the best way possible).

But on Monday, I can't resist teasing Dan about it just a little bit. Like I said, I'm good at reading people, which means I almost always know the right thing to say.

And since I'm messing with Dan, all I say are little hints that I might have been at the movies at the same time as him, and I might have seen him and Phil holding hands, but it might has been some other couple.

I dunno. I'll let them tell me if they're ready. Either way, they're pretty cute together.
