"Still no reply from Jeremy?" Caroline spoke as she slid into the opposite side of Bonnie's booth at the Grill.

"No. He's still angry that I agreed to use him against Kol," Bonnie sighed, pocketing her phone – which still had several unread messages to Jeremy and Elena. "I thought that having a Mikaelson free Mystic Falls would bring us some peace, but Elena's with Klaus and god only knows what torture he's putting her through, and Kol literally has Jeremy wrapped around his finger. Maybe Sage was right before she died. Our overprotective methods to keep Elena safe is what made her run into Klaus's arms."

"That's not it."

Bonnie arched an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Caroline then filled Bonnie in on what exactly happened the night Stefan kidnapped Elena, minus the part were their friend slept with Klaus, Bonnie was already questioning Jeremy's sanity, she didn't want or need Bonnie to judge Elena's and have the Salvatore brothers find out.

God, Damon was already annoying with his whole 'save Elena from Klaus's influence' plan, which was a total fail, Elena ended up disappearing with Klaus after they stopped Alaric.

"Seriously? Stefan left her to die?"

"And Klaus is the one that saved her, funny how Stefan forgot to mention that little detail." Caroline added, with a sigh. "Keeping Elena out of the loop on Stefan's plan was a bad idea, yes, I know that Klaus could've used Jeremy to get her to talk but he could've used any of us, Elena loves us all, Bon."

Bonnie's phone beeped, the witch that Stefan befriended had a location on Jeremy – it wasn't much to go on, but at least it was a start in finding both Elena and Jeremy.

"Louisiana?" Caroline muttered, eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "What is Damon planning to do? Search all of Louisiana?"

Elena let out a small groan as she fell backwards onto the bed of her hotel room, Elijah had brought out the entire penthouse floor and ironically – her suite was right across from Klaus.

Derek and Chyanne also had their own rooms, as did Rebekah, though Rebekah's room was closer to the south side of the floor near the markets.

The streets of New Orleans was loud and busy, there was the sound of drumming which had caught her attention – Elena glanced outside to the street below, catching the eye of a tall, dark-skinned man.

He was speaking to two other guys that were scanning the faces of the people that walked and danced down the street, when the man glances back up again – Elena had already retreated back into her room.

Elena let out a startled noise as Klaus was in her room, sitting on the bed as if he owned the place – with how rich the Mikaelsons were, he probably could buy 3 or 4 hotels and that won't even out a dent in the bank account.

"Jesus – you really should invest in wearing a bell,"

"Care for a drink, love?"

Elena blinked, head tilted slightly. "What?"

"We're in one of my favourites places of all time, surrounded by music and art, Elena." Klaus replied, with a small smirk. "I was thinking why not share it with you?"

A warm smile danced across Elena's face; she was touched that Klaus wanted to share this with her.

"Sure," She replied, pointing towards her luggage that she hasn't even bothered to unpack yet. "I just need to change, first."
