EDITED.
Devon Leigh's POV
I'm Devonshire Leigh Collins. 19 years old. Half-American, Half-Filipino. My mom is a Filipino. And my dad is an American. Single. Cold-hearted guy, except for my close friends.
"Young Master Leigh, your dad wants to talk to you at his mini office." The maid told me so I rushed to his office and there, I saw a man sitting on his swivel chair.
"Leigh. You're here." I hate my name so much. Tsss. -.-
"My name is Devon." I corrected him.
"Well, Leigh is a nicer name than Devon. Anyway, lets not fight about your name because that's not the main reason why you're here." I'm so getting pissed off.
"Then spill it dad." I coldly said. Tss. Mom is way better than dad.
"I'm here to tell you that you're getting married soon." What the?! How?! Who?! Damn!
"Oh come on dad. Stop putting me on those kind of situations. Arrange marriage. Again?!" If mom knew about this, he'll be dead. Tss.
"That's an order from your dad, Devonshire Leigh Collins." Tss. I hate dad. =___=
"Whatever dad." And got out of that filthy room.
I needed someone to help me with this situation so I'm heading to mom's room.
*knock knock*
"Coming!" Mom said cheerfully. When she opened the door, she was shocked to see me.
"Oh my Son. Come, pumasok ka." And she dragged me inside her room.
"Mom, I'm getting arranged. Again!" And she just smiled. That's my mom.
"Calm down dear. I'll introduce you to someone later. Sasabihin ko sa dad mo na icancel. Okay?" Yes! Wala nang arrange marriage. But, sino kaya yung girl? Hmm, I'm very curious.
"Yeah. Thanks mom!" And I hugged her very tight.
"Anytime, son." And he kissed me on the cheeks. Then I went outside the room.
I feel better now.
But I'm very very veeeeryy curious.
Who is the girl?
I just hope that this girl can help me move on.
Kasi it's so hard to forget her.
I miss her.
And it's all my fault.
