Chapter 25:Swim swim in the lake

(A/N:Hi Minna!I'm just saying to all of you that I've started watching Ao Haru ride/Blue spring ride.It's Shouju & I really like it,even tho I've only watched episode 1......BUT OH WELL!This might even improve my writing a tad.Anyway,piece out home slice!)

Itami pov
We quickly went & finished our unpacking. Ace wants to go swimming, so I'm about to change.But even though I'm usually confident about most things,I still get bikini shy when I'm at a public pool or something.I mean sure I have a curvaceous figure,but even I can still become shy!

"You'll be fine,Itami! You'll knock 'em all dead!"Nami would tell me
"Yeah! Just act like you're wearing clothes.....very small clothes!"Kira would add
"But then I'd look slutty!"I'd argue
"Just don't think about people staring at you. Just look straight ahead & think about getting into the water." Robin would say

I sighed.I haven't worn this since last summer.

Before changing, I closed my curtain & started to strip.

Ace pov
"What am I going to do?"

I was sitting in the bathroom,getting changed. When I remembered about my tattoos. People would start freaking out & say that I'm in a gang!

'I can't really cover it.....but maybe we could swim in the lake?'

Yeah! We could do that instead! Nobody really goes there anyway. So I'll be safe!
I got out of the bathroom &I waited outside for Itami.

(A/N:In Japan, if you have a tattoo most Japanese would consider you to be in a gang, resulting in you can't really go into most places, like restaurants or a pool or something.)

Itami pov
I heard a knock on the bedroom door.

"Are you ready?Itami-chan?"
"Y-yeah!But um...I'm just saying,I an a bit bikini shy.So if I get a bit weird,then that is why."I say

I swear I could hear Ace lightly smile on the other end of the door.

"Itami, I think you're amazing just the way you are. And when you smile, the whole world stops & stares for a while. Cuz you're amazing, just the way you are."Ace says

I giggled."Alright I'm coming out then!"

I grabbed my towel & opened the door. He was wearing a pair of black board shorts that had orange flame print all over it.

I gave Ace a shy smile."Ehhehehe...yeah I know it's a bit much right?"

Ace pov
God I probably look like an idiot right now.

Itami wore a black bikini that had gold rings on her sides & the sides of her chest.
I haven't really seen Itami in swim gear before. When she did swimming in year 9, she had broken her arm. But now that I see her like this....

"N-no! Like I said, your perfect just the way you are!"I stutter
She lit up."I knew I could count on you!"

We grabbed our towels & put on some clothes to cover up our revealed skin, and headed over to the lake

Itami pov
There was no one at the lake. Before we went out, we asked that it was safe, and it was safe to swim in! We put our stuff down & began to set up shop. I took my hair out of its pony tail & put it with the rest of my stuff.

But when I took my sandals of, that was horrible.

"Ah shit a brick! That sand hurts!"

Ace didn't have a problem with the white burning hot sand. He then scooped me up into his arms, me yelping in surprise.
But then he started to run towards the water.

"Ace what are you doing?!"I yell
He replied with that mischievous grin of his. That is never a good sign.
"Tell me! I'm getting-GAWH!"

With a huge ass throw, Ace threw me into the water. I flew in the air squawking & landed in the water with a muffled scream. The water ate me, getting a taste of my skin. I couldn't see at all.

Like I knew that I could stand, but I just had to like move all of my hair outta the way.

I resurfaced & breathed in a huge gallon of air. My hair flipping & water flying. I could hear Ace laughing, but I guess he hadn't heard me yet. I decided to stand there with my head down & pretend that I wasn't happy about it.

"Itami? Are you okay?"Ace asks

I didn't answer. By the way the water is rippling, Ace is slowly swimming over to me. Seconds later Ace was standing in front of me.

"Itami?"He asked again

With strength, I pushed Ace into the water. I heard him gasp in shock & splash in the water with confusion & surprise plastered over his handsome face. I was already laughing hysterically as soon as Ace resurfaced from the water.

"AHAHAHAHAHA! Oh I'm so sorry Ace, it's just..hahahaha you were an easy target at this moment!HAHAHA!"I laugh

He pouts at me, but soon joins in with the laughing. We swam in the cooling & fresh lake. Most of the time we'd be having water fights, Ace would win heaps of times but other times I'd win when I catch Ace off guard.

I swam over to Ace & hug him. I felt him slowly wrap his waters stained arms around my back. I could feel his warm breath fan my neck & body, causing me to shiver.

"I love you ya know that?"I asked
Ace kissed my shoulder."I had never doubted that. And I love you too."

I felt Ace grab my legs & hoist me up, my legs wrapping around his waist. I entwined my fingers behind his neck & began to kiss Ace.
The kiss was long & passionate. His soft & warm lips matching & moving in sync with mine. Even though it is cold whenever the wind whips the lake, Ace will always keep us warm.

Because that is how he rolls.

As we pulled away, I pouted.
"I am cold."I say dead panned
Ace lightly laughs."Come on then."

He picks me up bridal style & began to walk out of the water.I wrapped myself in a towel & got Ace to carry me. Mainly because I love it when Ace holds me.

I listened to his heart beat & place a hand on his muscular chiseled chest. His body was warm & welcoming, almost as if he was my home.

I could feel my eyed slowly droop. Before I knew it, I was out like a light.

Ace pov
I heard deep breathing & realized that Itami fell asleep in my arms. She looked peaceful when she sleeps. I wonder what she could be dreaming about?

"What am I going to do with you?"I ask her sleeping body

When I went back to our room, the elders & adults were giving us approving looks. I guess they were trying to say:"Young love! How cute!" With their eyes.

We went up in the elevator, I swiped our penthouse keycard & the elevator had woken up again & started to climb up the levels.
