Chapter 30:Koshiteru, my love

Itami pov
Before I even knew it, I was already on my way to Ace's place. I didn't want to leave these gals alone, but if I want to be a translator or an Author or something, I have gotta do this.
Olvia drove up the boys' drive way & parked the car. We were all already in tears. I just can't believe that I won't see them for a year and a half. What would I do without them?

"Well guys...looks like I gotta go."I sighed

They were already hugging me. I could hear their faint cries & sniffles from them. I too was crying, I was the one crying the loudest.

"I'm going to miss you guys.."I hiccup
"*sniff* Man...you better get us some souvenirs..! I really don't want you to leave."Kira cried
"Haha yeah...but guys be strong okay? And if there is any guy trouble, just Skype me & I'll take the first plane ride home, and I'll beat them up for you. Okay?"I sob
The girls laughed.

I waved them off as they drove off down the street. I bit the inside of my cheek & sighed.

"I sure will miss them.."I sigh

Quickly wiping away the tears, I gathered up my suitcase & other belongings & knocked on the door, hard. I could already hear them arguing about who is going to answer the door, then one would get a sock in the eye (usually Luffy) until either Ace or Sabo will open the door.

"OWWW!"

"Oh Luffy.."I giggle sadly

The door swung open to reveal all 3 of the brothers on the ground, Ace's hand falling to the ground from opening the door. The 3 were all in a clump together, arms around each other's necks & other body parts sprawled on each other. Ace & Sabo were giving Luffy the most deadliest & dirtiest looks in history.

"Baka! Why did you friggin' attack us?!?"Sabo hisses
"I wanted to be the one that answers the door for Itami-chan!"Luffy whines
"No way would I let that happen Bakero! I will always be the one to answer the door for her because she is my girlfriend!"Ace yells
"Yeah well you don't own her! We can still talk to her! So that means I can answer the door for her!"Sabo yells back
"But-"
"Guys! Are you gonna say hello to me or what?"I interrupt

They all looked up to me & comically 'screamed' in horror upon seeing me. I wasn't even doing anything....I was just standing...jeez.

"I-I-Itami!?"They yelped
"Yes? I am allowed to come in right? I mean your guys lawn looks fantastic, but I think it's supposed to rain tonight so I don't really want to get drenched."I say

Ace untangled himself from his brothers & helped me with my bags. He smiled at me as be kicked his brothers head, pretending that he didn't see them there.

"Baka you did that on purpose!"Luffy yells accusingly
"What? I have no idea what you're talking about.....I knew all of that food was driving you crazy.."Ace says
"URUSEI BAKA!"The brothers yelled

I laughed as Ace & I went upstairs to his room. He opened his bedroom door & neatly placed my stuff that I needed for the night by the double bed. He turned to me, a sad smile on his handsome face.

"You know, I'm really going to miss you."He says
I sighed."Honestly, after staying with the girls last night, I really don't feel like going anymore. I don't wanna leave my family behind."I say
Ace wrapped an arm around me & kissed my head."Well no matter where either of us go, we'll always know that we are still there for each other. Not physically, but mentally."He says
I laughed sadly."Thats going to be hard."
