Chapter 24:How the hell can you afford that?!

"Hello?"
"Hey love."Ace says warmly
I grin."Whats up love?"
"I have a proposal."Ace says
"Are we getting married?Ace we're still in high school!Not that I'm saying I don't wanna get married to you....I wanna be your wife!"I say
Ace laughed on the other end."That does sound perfect.But I just wanted to ask you something."
"Hm?Whats up?"I asked

"Well Sabo has gone off with Vivi for a date out at the city,Marco's at New Zealand for a holiday & Luffy has been at Mr Le Roux'a for a long time now."Ace says
"They left you home alone?!"I asked
"Yeah.....so I was wondering....how about we go on holiday ourselves?"Ace asked
My eyes widened."Really?!"
"100% really.I was thinking we could go to All Blue lake."Ace says

All Blue.......

Apparently that's like a really expensive holiday resort.From what I hear,All Blue us famous for its cuisine.Sanji talks about it all the time.

"Isn't that expensive?"I asked
"Haha yeah.....but I kind of pulled a few strings with Pop-I mean a close friend of mine."Ace says
"Oh cool!I just gotta ask if I can go,that's all."I say
"Oh & we're going to stay there till Saturday & we'll leave on Thursday."
"Oh ok."
"Ok-LUFFY STOP EATING MY FOOD!Sorry gotta go,can you call me & tell me if you're coming-BACK OFF!"
I laughed."Yeah,yeah sure!Love you!"
"Love you too."

We hung up.

'All Blue resort....I've ways wanted to there.From what Sanji says,it's really beautiful.'

I got off my bed & went downstairs to ask Mother about the trip.

"Morther can I go to All Blue with Ace?"
Mother had her eyes wide as a giraffe."What?!All Blue?!"
"Yeah."I said
"Darling,how are you two going to afford that trip?Have you heard how expensive it is?"
"Ace has got that covered.He said that he pulled a couple strings with a close friend of his."I say
Mother looked hesitant."It's not that I'm against you going,but I'm just thinking of how long you're going to be there."
"We'll leave on Thursday & come back on Saturday."I said
"Oh ok........yup you can go."Mother says
"Really?!"
"Yeah.It'd be nice for you two to go on a getaway together.Just...behave yourself okay?"
I nod vigorously."Yeah!We will!I'm gonna go start texting now.Thanks Mother!"I say as I raced up my stairs

I crash landed into my bed & began to text Ace like a crazy person

Me:Mother approves

My Prince (Ace):Great!I can't wait😘😄C u then?

Me:😄Haha yeah c u then!💜 u!

My Prince (Ace):❤️ u 2 love

I sighed in happiness as my phone slipped onto my bed.

I can't wait for this!

*Thursday morning*
Ace & I were busing to All Blue lake Resort.I had to get up real early so now I'm like,half asleep on Ace.He noticed me with my eyes half open & began to rub my shoulder slowly

"Sleep.You're gonna need the energy for when we get there."Ace says
I smile sleepily at Ace."Okay,can you wake me up when we're there?"
He smiled back."Yeah.I will."

And so,I cuddled up to Ace & fell asleep,listening to his melodic heart beat.

*Later*
I felt my body lightly shake.I slowly opened my eyes & saw a smiling Ace beaming down at me.

"Rise & shine sleeping beauty!"Ace whispers
I yawned."Are we here?"
"Yeah!C'mon you have got to see this!"

We got off the bus & I gasped.

It was so beautiful.

The resort that we were staying at,looked like we were staying at a beautiful clean beach.I could see the lake.The chemical blue water reflecting the azure blue sky.The resort itself was huge.Big pool,nicely cut grassy areas,pool side bar & tables.And there looked to be about 10 floors!

"Dear lord I have seen the gates of heaven.."I say
Ace laughed at my expression."C'mon!Our bags are waiting for us inside!"

We walked over to the lobby where we had to sign in &a grab our room key.Inside everything looked modernised.Flat screen TVs in almost every room,that flippy hotel door thingy,huge tinted windows & it mostly had that blue,steel & white colour scheme.

"And if you need anything,there is a call button in your room.Have a great stay here!"The receptionist lady says
"Thanks!"

We knew that the bags were going to be already up there,so we just went straight up to our room.

"So what room did you grab us?"I asked
He grinned."It's a surprise."
I pouted."Oh c'mon Ace!Give me a hint?Please?"
"But it's called a surprise for a reason isn't it?Otherwise it wouldn't be much of a surprise."Ace says
My pout grew."Meanie."
He laughed & wrapped his arm around my waist."Oh but I know that you still love me."
"Yeah.....I love you idiot."I say
He grinned & swiped our room key over the sensor.

Our elevator roared to life &a started to lift off the ground,the chains making a haunting rattling sound.

"So do you have any plans for the 2 of us?"I asked
"Yeah I do.But I won't tell you."
I sweatdrop & narrow my eyes.

'He is never this secretive.'

"Well you're no fun."

I heard him chuckle & whisper something to himself.

Our elevator dinged,signaling that we are at our floor.When the doors opened I gasped

"No way!"
Ace laughed."Yes way."
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU AFFORD OUR OWN PENTHOUSE?!"I yell
"Well you know what I said,I pulled a couple strings with a close friend of mine.But really,I consider him family."Ace says

I eyeballed at the view in front of us.The penthouse was at the top of the resort.Only those who have been given luck & great fortune has ever stayed in the penthouse.One time Nami came here & she heard that you get a private onsen instead of a bath.And the showers up here are rain showers as well!
The view up here was amazing.You could see almost the whole of the All blue lake.But if you take away the lush greenery,the whole place would've looked like the border between heaven & earth.

"So,"Ace says as he wraps his arms around me."What do ya think?"Ace says
"What do I think?Well first of I'm thinking that this place is absolutely spectacular!Secondly,I'm thinking that I am so very happy that I'm with a guy like you,Ace."I say
I felt him nuzzle his nose into my shoulder.
"Well at the moment,I feel happy that I get to spend these last couple days of the holidays with you."Ace whispers.
