Chapter 2:She has changed

Itami pov
After 5 minutes of a welcome back committee,my squad:Namj,Robin,Vivi & my cousin Kira,we had a big squad hug.

"Oh my gawd we were waiting for you at the front gate this morning!"Kira says
"Yeah..sorry.You know my Mother,she forgot about buying Tsumi & I stationary & our uniforms.Though Mr Le Roux didn't seem to mind."

We all laughed,it felt like the old times.

"Alright my young women,better start with Gymnastics now!"
I jumped for joy,I love Gymnastics!

"Alright everyone!Gather around!Ms Lucifer Roza here is going demonstrate her skills in Gym!But first we gotta set up!"

After setting up,I did the Gym stretches.I felt eyes on me & found all of the guys blushing at me.
But then,I saw a pair of chocolate brown eyes stare at me.

'Ace.....oh god don't tell me that he's in my classes?'

As soon as he saw me look at him,he quickly looked away & blushed a heavy shade of red.

'What's up with him?I thought he was over me?'

I finished my streches & stood up

'Time to strut my stuff.'

Ace pov
All of the guys stared at Itami's body as she did the Gym stretches.I stared as well,still trying to believe that she is back.

She is nowhere near that shy,sweet girl with the neon green glasses.Like when we were...together,she did have a nice body for her age & she was really smart as well.
But has she truly changed?Or is she just using a confident,sassy shield to hide that shy girl from year 9 & 10?

I came back to reality as soon as Itami looked at me.Her gaze was hard & piercing,her emerald green eyes shining.

I quickly looked away & felt my face warm up.Marco nudged me.
"You have the hots for her,don't you,yoi?"
I stared at the ground."I have no idea what you're talking about."
I swear I heard Marco smirk."You still do!Oh my god this is rich.."
"Sh-shut up!"

I looked back up & quietly gasped.

Itami was on the balance beam,doing a perfect hand stand.She then went into a backwards bridge formation & was standing again.
She then lifted 1 leg up & held the other leg to the back of her head.

'Damn...she's turned..flexible.'

She held that position for a couple more seconds then jumped off the beam.We all clapped for efforts as she bowed like a princess.

"Beautiful efforts Ms Lucifer Roza.Now everyone,now that you have seen a..a gymnast with extraordinary skill,you can all begin to practice with the beam,the trampoline & balancing on the mats over there.Now could you please go to your assigned groups & areas for today.Ms Lucifer Roza,you can be a teacher for the other students,but they must ask you.So in other words Itami you can do what you want.Now let's do it!"

While people took turns on the tramp,I couldn't help but watch Itami do a dance routine.
Her movements were flawless & perfect.She danced as if she was a professional.I was about to walk over to her & start up some sort of relationship,but she had earphones in & she looked like she didn't want to be disturbed.

'She has changed.'

Itami pov
Everyone started rushing over to either the trampoline, balance beams or the mats. While they did that, I decided to practice a dance routine that I've been doing in dance.

I turned off the music on my phone & put away my earphones.Everyone was packing up,so I started to help out.

We put away the balance beam,the mats & the tramp in no time flat.As I walked out of the Gym,the squad & a couple of other girls in my class started to talk with me.

We went to the changing rooms & changed into our uniform:Black blazer,black pencil skirt,white blouse with long sleeves & a pair of black ankle boots with high heels.
I slung my black & red reptile spiky bag & waited for my squad.

"So why did you come back again?"Vivi asked as she put on her skirt.
"My Mother thought that I should spend my last year at school with my friends,also because this is the only school that has language & the arts course that's good for me."
"Is Tsumi coming here?"Robin asked
"Yeah,Mother thought that Tsumi & I should stay together you know?Plus all of his friends from intermediate are here as well."
"Aww I miss the lil' fuzzball & Aunty Armalia!"Kira grins

*RING!'

"The angel calls.."I sigh

We walked out of the Gym in squad formation,as we walked through the school towards the exit,we talked about some gossip that's flowing through our year group.

"No way!Sabo broke up with Koala?But they were such a cute couple in year 9 & 10!"
"I know!But they're like on good terms with each other now.I hear that he's got his eye on someone in our class!"
We all look at Vivi,who has a huuggge crush on Sabo since intermediate.It's actually really funny to watch when she fangirls about him.

"What?!Why are you staring?!"Vivi exclaimed with a blush on her face.
"We said Sabo has a crush on a girl in our class!"
Vivi blush went darker."I-it wouldn't be me..I'm hopeless."
I slung my arm around Vivi."It so should be you!You're cute,smart & loyal!Any guy is lucky to even date you!"I encourage
"But I'm not like you..you're on a better level than me.I bet you Sabo-kun likes you-"
"Naw...I only just got back you know!Vi,he probably does like you."
"Yeah!"Nami agrees
Robin & Kira nod enthusiastically.Vivi smiled at us."Thanks guys."

Ace pov
"So...Itami's back huh?"
"Don't start-"
"You should make a move on her!"My brother Sabo says
"Sabo-"
"Come on,Ace!I know you 2 had a rough ending,but you should pick up the pieces & start over again!"Sabo tries
I groan."She wouldn't want me back.She gave me the most scary look in PE!She'd probably kill me on sight if I even try to talk to her."
"Ace are you chicken?"Luffy asked
I bonk him over the head."No idiot!I'm just stating facts!"

My brothers groan at me.

"Can't you at least,I dunno try?"
I sigh."Yeah I guess..."
