Chapter 43:Our day in Paris

Itami pov
When I woke up, I could feel his lips up against my neck, his warm breath tickling me in nicest feeling. Ace was spooning me, holding me protectively. I wanted to turn around & snuggle into him, but I was afraid that I'd wake Ace up from his peaceful slumber. So with sheer will power, I stayed like that & waited for Ace to wake up.

"Mmmm?"

I felt Ace shift beside me. His eyelashes tickling me as he opened his eyes up. I crocked my head a little to see Ace awake, his chocolate brown eyes still looking hazy from sleep.

"Morning love."I say
He yawned & let me face him."Mmm good morning love...did you sleep well?"He asked
"Yeah, it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud."I say
He smiled & lowered his eyelids a bit."That's good.."He yawns

Ace is so cute when he wakes up....he's also cute when he's fast asleep.

I gently picked Ace up & put his head on my stomach. He immediately wrapped his arms around my waist & snuggled into me.

"You go back to sleep if you want, I'll sit here with you."I say
"Okay."He says sleepily

I hummed a tune & caressed Ace's face as he slept. His heavy breathing could be the only thing you'd hear in the room. I smiled as he slept happily, his sleeping face absolutely adorable.

"Oh Ace..."I sigh."Words cannot describe how much I love you.."

Ace let out a sleep sigh.
"Itami.......woman where is my meat....what...? What do you mean we've ran out....?"

I giggled & laid down, Ace still on top of me. He shimmed closer to me & sleep sighed. My shirt was lifted up a bit, so I could feel Ace's hair tickling my stomach whenever he shuffled in his sleep. After a while, I ended falling back asleep for a bit.

Later, Ace woke me up to tell me that he wanted to go out for breakfast. So we both got out of bed & changed into some clothes that we bought & headed out for breakfast.

Ace pov
The Summer air gently swayed over us. It was a pretty day here in Paris, the sun was shining & the sky was the bluest of blue. As Itami & I walked down the street towards the near by café, we were looking/sightseeing as we walked. The streets were bustling & the atmosphere was nice & bubbly. Just about wherever we stood in Paris you could see the Eiffle tower anywhere you were.
Around me, the people here either spoke in French, or spoke English with a British accent. Most of the time I had no idea what the hell they were saying, but a couple times I picked up on what they were saying.

Next to me, Itami was smiling. As per usual, she looked beautiful. The wind that blew through her hair made her look like she was a model walking down a catwalk. Itami looked up at me & her smile brightens up.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"She asked
"Who? You or the Eiffke tower?"I asked
She rolled her eyes."This city. The language is romantic, a lot of the buildings here are historically beauty. And today has nice weather."She smiled wider."And to top it all off, I'm spending these 6 days with you."
I grin."I guess we're both lucky. You're absolutely right. This city is beautiful.."I lean in."But not as beautiful as you.."I whisper
Her cheeks flamed & she fell silent.

We got to the café & we found ourselves a spot. We sat down & got out the menus that were provided & started to scan through the writing.

'This....'

Everything in here was in French. I couldn't understand a word that this menu had. I wanted to ask Itami, but I didn't want to look stupid. But her being her, she looked over to me.

"Do you want me to translate for you?"She asked
I nod vigorously."Please."

She laid the menu down & started to talk me through the food that was there, pointing & explaining in English. Most of the time, I couldn't help but stare in amazement at her since she knew so much. She was an absolute pro at all of this language thing.  Maybe she should be an international translated.

"Alright so what are you settling on?"She asked
I snapped my head out of the clouds."That."I say as I point at the menu.
"Isn't that the sane thing as me?"She asked
I laughed sheepishly."Well,"I start."There was so much to chose from that I forgot most of the options."
She gave me a look."Oh boy...okay! Alright I'm ordering now."

She pushed the buzzer & a friendly looking French waiteress came over to our table. They both spoke fluently in French, only thing I could understand was the things that we were ordering. The waitress walked off to get our food ready, leaving Itami & I alone...well not alone alone..but you know, alone.

"I really should've asked you to teach me some French."I laugh
She laughed as well."Yeah you should've. But I guess I can still teach you a few words & structures while we're here."

While we waited for our food to come, Itami was teaching me some French words & sentences. At first I couldn't get it right, but after a while I started to catch on & pronounce the words properly.
Our food came & I was still learning some French. Not that I'm complaining. Though most of the time I just wanted to eat my food because it was so fricken good.

After breakfast, we decided to go for a walk around the area & go sightseeing. It was so nice seeing Itami so happy about being here. She looked really cute when she was excited. She'd drag me everywhere & point out the landmarks & attractions.

Afterwards, it was already getting dark so we went back to the hotel & grabbed some food that was at the caf in the lobby. We grabbed a table & ate our food.

"Ace,"Itami starts."I've had so much today, you know?"
I smile."That's good. I'm really happy to know that you're having fun."

For the rest of our meal, we'd talk about what we saw today. Itami kept on talking about how much she really wanted to go & see the Eiffle tower at night. She says that the place would look so pretty.

"And the city lights would make Paris look alive & beautiful! Ace I'm like really excited about it, you know? I've always wanted to go up the Eiffle tower & look at the view at night....."She sighed happily."It'd be so romantic..."She hums
I reached over & held her hand, looking deep into her emerald green eyed.
"Just hearing you talk about it makes me wanna kiss you on the Eiffle tower. And really...I want to kiss you right now."I say
She smirk."Then what are you waiting for?"

She didn't even have to tell me twice. I leaned in & lightly kissed her lips. It was a nice, gentle & sweet kiss. With my hand, I lightly reached out & gently cupped her face, holding her in place. Underneath the table, my other hand was holding her hand, my thumb caressing her knuckles. We stayed like that for a bit, until I ran out of air & pulled away. My face was mere inches away from hers, I leaned my forehead on hers & smiled.

"I really, really, positively love you, Itami."I whisper
She smiled radiantly."I love you too, Ace."
