Chapter 42:Honey moon

Itami pov
I yawned as I slowly open my eyes, the sleep peeling away from my eyelids. Staring up at the ceiling I sighed happily.

Today, we're going on our Honeymoon to Paris.

Our flight is at 11:30, and it takes about 12 hours to get from here all the way to France. Ace & I were really excited about going there, Ace has never been out of the archapalago & I've only been to New Zealand & Italy (Fathers family has a Latin background. I've only been to Italy once).

The time was 7:50. We had to be at the airport by 10:30 for check-in. Sighing, I sat up from my bed & began to shake Ace awake.

"Ace....Ace! Wake up woman!"I say
Ace groans."Luffy...Sabo go away...I don't want to deal with you."
I smile."Aaccceeee~....get up Daddy please?"I purr
I knew Ace was grinning, meaning that he wants to hear more.
"Ace~.....please Daddy~.....I want you~~Now..~"I moan
"Try harder.."Ace groans
I smirk."Alright then....I'm taking this top off now."
Ace immediately shot up & grinned at me.
"Well?"He asked."You stripping?"
I laughed."No I'm getting yo lazy ass outta bed. Come on don't you wanna go to Paris?"
Ace grinned."Know me all to well woman....Alright, I'm getting up."

I clapped my hands & went downstairs to the kitchen. Grabbing out all the necessary ingredients for pancakes with a side of bacon, whipped cream, chopped bananas, maple syrup & chocolate sprinkles. While I was cooking, I heard Ace come in & wonder over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist & kissing my cheek.

"It smells so good."He sighes
I giggle."That's good, I wasn't trying to make it smell like shit."I say
Ace chuckled."I'll be watching tv."

With a quick peck on the lips, Ace went over to the lounge that was joined with the kitchen, and watched tv.

Soon, breakfast was ready to eat. I dished both of our plates up & went over to the lounge to watch tv with Ace. He was watching Death Parade, a new anime that started up in 2015.

After eating & watching a couple episodes, I kicked Ace off the couch & made him have a shower, though he wanted me to shower with him......so I did.

No we didn't have sex

Okay....maybe we did....a little bit....

Anyway, after the shower we got dressed & started to pack Summer clothes for Paris, and others important stuff for our honey moon. By the time we were ready, it was about 10:00. So we grabbed everything & drove over to Grand line International Airport.

Ace & I checked ourselves in & dropped our suitcases off, leaving us with our carry on bags. We grabbed a quick coffee at Starbucks & waited for the announcement for us to go through our gate. As we waited, Ace & I talked about what's gonna go down in Paris. We were staying in Paris for 5 days, so ideally we decided to go to the Eiffle tower on our last night.

We got the call to proceed to our gate. We threw away our empty coffee cups & went over to get our passports checked & our bags X-rayed. Passing through with no problems, Ace & I walked over to our gate & boarded our plane. The flight attendants went through the safety procedures & told us what to do & what not to do. Though, I'm pretty sure Ace won't light anything on fire, he should be fine.

The flight to Paris was one of the longest 12 hours of my life. And one of the hungriest. Like yeah there was food, but plane food isn't exactly my favorite, including when it's bland scrambled eggs.

But anyway, we got to Paris in one piece.

When we got there, it was late at night & it was warm. The city was still alive & bright, lighting almost every darkest corner of Paris. Luckily I learnt how to speak in French.

"Excusez moi monsieur, où puis- je trouver cet hôtel?"
I showed the sir my phone which hotel Ace & I were going to, he told us the directions & we were off.

As we walked down towards the hotel, Ace wrapped one arm around my waist & kissed my cheek.
"Amazing woman...absolutely amazing.."He whispers
I blushed."What did I do this time?"I asked
Ace chuckled."I just love how you're so intelligent & linguistic. It's not everyday you meet someone who can speak many different languages."
I smile."Yeah I guess that is true..."

We got to the hotel & checked in to our room. Our bags were already taken up to our room so we were fine. We were in the honey moon room, the room that is at the top of the hotel & occupies the whole floor, the only way to open the room in the elevator is swiping the key card in the elevator. Made no sense but you kinda get it.
We walked into our room & the first thing you'd see was the massive view. You could see basically all of Paris from the height we were at. The room had a gold & white affect, making this room a tad bit brighter than normal. We got a wall flat screen tv that had a surround sound system, a big wide kitchen, a roomy lounge & a master bedroom that came with its own en suite & a jacuzzi.
And as you can probably imagine, our jaws were probably hitting the ground.

"Omigod...."We say in disbelief
"This...this is our room..?"I asked
Ace nodds."Yeah..This is our room."

In all honesty, I was too afraid to touch anything because it was all nice & tidy. Hell, I'm scared that if I even breathe my oxygen will contaminate the atmosphere in here.

"Well..."Ace says."We should probably go to bed."
"Y-yeah! We should! You go have a shower, I'll just unpack.." I say

We went to our bedroom & found that it was equally grand as the lounge. I think I must be dreaming.

After I unpacked, I quickly went on FB & went through all of the posts that everyone has posted while I was in the air. Not a lot happening, though Tsumi posted a picture of him & his girlfriend watching a movie in Tsumi's room. That is what I call adorable.

Ace came back wearing only a towel, showing his abs. He smelt like ginseng & lavender.

"Damn.."He says."French people have got it good here."
I chuckle."Well they are elegant & fashionable."
"I can tell, everything here is so....pretty."
I laughed."Well I better clense myself."

I grabbed my stuff & walked past Ace, until he grabbed my hand. He leaned in & whispered-

"Don't drown."
I smirk."Don't worry I'll wear a life jacket for you!"I joke

Before he let go, he (out of everything he does) licks my cheek slowly. Blushing, I ran into the bathroom & shut the door behind me.

Ace pov
I chuckled as Itami shut the bathroom door. She's so cute when she's flustered.

I sighed as I looked around our room for food. In the fridge that we got had all these pretty & yummy looking foods that I was too afraid of ruining them. There was also wine, but I like sake better. Closing the fridge, I turned the lights out & went back to our room. I got changed into my pajamas that I bought & unpacked the rest of our gear.
Itami came out of the shower, wearing her shirt nightie. She looked tired & looked ready for sleeping. I smile & got into bed, patting the spot next to me.

"I believe that this spot is reserved for you, Mrs Portgas."I say
She blushed upon what I call her."O-okay!"

Crawling into bed, she snuggled into me & sighed happily.
"Ace.."She says
"Yeah?"
"I love you.."She says
I kissed her head & spooned her from behind."I love you too, Mrs Portgas."

We fell asleep in each others arms.
