Chapter 44:Last day in Paris

(A/N:In all honesty I can't be bothered in writing almost 7 chapters about their honeymoon atm. So I'mma just do the time skip to their last day in Paris)

This time when I woke up, I felt really sad. Probably because today is our last day here in Paris. My reaction to learning this was literally:"Wat te fickle fackle? Where did teh deys go?"

During our time here in Paris, Ace & I have had a lot of fun. Just yesterday we went to Disney land & stayed there for ages. I almost got Ace & I to stay there, but I remembered that all of our clothes were still at the hotel we're staying in. But anyway, I'm really going to miss coming here to Paris.

"Awww we'll come back here again one day."Ace says
"Hopefully, if we have enough money."I say
"We'll be fine. You & I both know how much I get paid at work, and you're getting paid heaps at the Mandarin shop."Ace says
"Yeah I guess so.."I sigh
He balances his head on his hands & layers himself down on me."I promise you, we will come back here."Ace says
I giggled."And I promise on that too!"

We kind of just laid in bed talking about random stuff that pooped into our minds. Most of the time Ace was learning how to plait my hair because he was bored. He made sure I didn't help him by tying my hands behind my back.

"Ace..."I groaned."My hands are hurting!"
"Keep still woman! I'm almost done!"He says
"But my arms & hands are sore!"I say childishly

Ace stopped plaiting & tied up my hair. He then untied my hands & spun me around so that I was facing him. Carefully, he grabbed my wrists & brought them towards his lips, and kissed them. He started kissing up to my fingertips, then down my arm & fore arm, until he brought me into a kiss. I giggled when Ace lightly pushed me down on the bed. After about 15 minutes of a make out session, we got up & made up some breakfast & ate some breakfast in a comfortable silence.

"Right!"Ace says in a authorized tone."Woman! We're going out!"
"Oh where are we going?"I ask
He grinned misheviously."It's a surprise."
"Can you give me a hint?"
"If I did that then it wouldn't be much of a surprise would it?"Ace says tauntingly
I gave him a playful glare."Goddamn it Portgas. You & your mysteries."
Ace smirks."Love you too, Mrs Portgas Lucifer Roza."

We did our daily routine & left our hotel. Ace told me that the thing that he was taking me to was wasn't far from the hotel, so it was easy for us to get there.

"Please Ace??? Not even a little hint?"I beg
"Nope. It's a surprise woman."He says
"Ahhhhh your killing me!"I say dramatically

We carried on walking. We started to go towards the direction of the near by park that we went to the other day. Man I just want to know where the heck Ace was taking me! The anticipation is slowly starting to kill me!

I gasped when we arrived.

"We're here!"Ace says cheerily

My mouth was hanging open as I stared at the colourful tent in front of me. The faint scent of cotton candy & butter popcorn was in the air, creating a fun & cinematic atmosphere.

"No way."I say in my 'No way' voice.
Ace laughed."Hell yes."
My eyes were wide."Bruh! Your taking me to Cirque de l'été! This is one of the most internationally known circuses!"I say aloud
He laughed even harder."An even more reason why I'm bringing you here."
"You have tickets?!?"I exclaimed
Ace searched through his pockets & produced 2 Gold & Red tickets

Cirque de l'été is a French Summer circus that only ever appears all around the world when it's Summer. I went to one of their shows when I was 8, and it was amazing! The performances were absolutely spectacular! And now that I'm here with Ace, this just makes everything even better!
