Chapter 10:Confession gone wrong

Itami pov
I sat on the swings of a near by playground,waiting for Ace to arrive

'I wonder what he wants to talk to me about...'

So many scenarios are going through my head at the moment.Ace telling me that he he's gay,Ace telling me he dumped Marcy (popular one there in my brain),Ace telling me he's somehow pregnant with Marco's baby......

(A/N:Sorry to those who are offended{if you actually did get offended} I'm tired)

'I shouldn't think such childish things'

"Hi Ace."

Ace smiled at me as he approached the swing I was swinging on.The smile that he gave me,sent me pleasurable chills down my spine.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?"

Ace pov
Shit.I forgot what I was gonna say.Think think!I practiced this so many times today in the mirror!Why the hell did I forget all of it now!!?
Stupid brain

"I....."

Come on I can do this!

"Well...this is u-urgent!"I stutter
She giggled."Well it must be!You can tell me anything & everything!"

I sigh."Y-yesterday,I broke up with Marcy.."
Her eyes widened."Why?What happened?"
"I realized that she wasn't the one for me....and there's another part to it too."
She tilts her head."Really?"

Here comes the bit where I could ruin our relationship

"A-and the reason why I dated Marcy...w-was to m-make y-you jealous......"

Third pov
All of a sudden,Itami felt her world crashes & burn around her

'Did he seriously think that he can just use a woman to hurt another womans feelings?!That's just complete utter bullshit.'Itami thought

"How could you..."Itami growls."HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!"I shout."HOW COULD YOU USE A WOMAN TO MAKE ANOTHER GIRL JEALOUS?!YOU JERK!"Itami shouts

"Are us woman only seen as some sort of an object to you?Well I tell you now,Portgas,"I stood up."Is that we also have damn feelings for fucks sake!"She screams

She took a step towards Ace."I trusted you Ace.I thought that maybe....just maybe after I forgave you...I could've given you another chance for us.We could've been together!But no.....YOU DECIDED TO USE THAT POOR YANDERE GIRL TO MAKE ME JEALOUS?!WHAT KIND OF SICK BASTARD WOULD DO THAT?!"

The tears were falling.

"Do you have any idea...how much you had hurt me that day?!That day.....that stupid fucking day on the last day of year 10,you broke my heart......you don't know of the hell that I went through at that school.I was scared if every guy that was my age,just because you broke up with me!"I laugh harshly."It was so frickin' ridiculous.."

"And now that I'm back....I saw you & I was trying to get over you & just consider you as a friend....but somehow..just somehow I fell for you again!A-and when you started going with Marcy....It hurt..it frickin' hurt!"

"And now you tell me that you were using her?!I mean like,I'm happy that you actually wanna be with me but I just can't believe that you'd go so far to use another woman!Now I just say that's fucked up....so fucked up-"

"WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP FOR A SECOND & LET ME SPEAK?!"Ace shouts

Itami stopped,surprised that he shouted at her

"It was not my idea to use Marcy like that!All I wanted ever since you came back 2 months ago,was to be with you one more time!It was Marco's idea to use Marcy...I swear my life I'm telling the truth!"

Itami growls

"Marco's idea....?"

"Yes!I'm telling the tru-"

"Then why did you follow his lead?I don't get why Marco thought it was a good idea to do that....but I know one thing for sure.It's a terrible idea.He's not your brain Ace.I'm pretty sure you have a brain of your own-"

"I asked Marco cause I was afraid of fucking it all up.I was afraid that I'd ruin everything with you & never be able to build a relationship with you again!You're not the only one who went through hell Itami.We all go through hell.I went through everyday,wishing I could break into that damned school & apologize over & over to you till U can't speak anymore."Ace yells

It all went silent,the only thing that could be heard was the creak of the swing & blowing of the wind.

The glare competition between them was intense,both of their angry gazes hard & scary

"You know what.I'm done."

Itami spun on her heel & left the perremesiss

Not knowing that a horrible kidnapping is about to take place
