CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

Damons PoV

I wake up when I hear a knock on the door, I roll Lucas out of my arms and answer it to find Rory standing there. "Alpha I'm sorry to wake you but we have captured two rouges on the border, we have them in the pack cells. They are very small and have the scent of omegas. I thought you should be informed as soon as possible, to be honest don't see any threat". "I will get Tay and we will be there shortly, we need to care for our mates. Ensure they get a small meal and a drink until we get there" I dismiss him to go deal with it until we arrive.

Going back into the room I see the boys all snuggling into one another, I smile loving seeing them like this. I go to the bathroom, do my morning routine and then run a bath once everything is in place. I wake Dante who does his morning routine. I explain what's going on and he agrees that we will go there as soon as we can. We then wake our mates as usual we get told to fuck right off from little one but the promise of a bath helping his sore bum and the offer of getting carried there gets him going.

Once they are comfortable I wash Luka and he washes little one. "We have to leave today you remember that right?" I ask not wanting to delay the conversation. They both just nod sadly. "If you want us to wait we will, we don't want you to regret the mating or think we are abandoning you right after" Dante says. "We don't think that at all and we will never regret it. We just love you and will miss you" Luka tells us. "We'll get it over with as quickly as we can and get back" I reply. "Ok be safe and I love you too" Lucas whispers then turns to kiss Tay.

After that I tell them about the omega rouges and they want to come with us to find out who they are. We agree because it's their pack now too. We finish our bath and dress. I realise the pack hasn't met them yet so I ask "are you comfortable enough to have breakfast with the pack or not?" "sure, we need to meet our new pack anyway" Lucas says and I am so proud of his courage. Not wanting to make a big deal out of it I just give him a thank you kiss.

I mind link the pack that their lunas are going to be introduced at breakfast and everyone is to be there to greet them. Eventually we leave the room we are flanked by the four warriors ordered to care for our mates. When we get to the dining room the pack are quiet, "good morning everyone, we would like to introduce you to your new lunas. This is Luka and Lucas Bane, soon to be Heart, your lunas". The pack let out loud howls of welcome, accepting them right away. I am pleased at this. "Ok let's eat, we will be leaving for a few days please follow any instructions given to you by your lunas and betas until we return" "yes Dante" the pack answer him.

Some members introduce themselves to the boys after breakfast but we had to interrupt them in order to deal with the rouges. When we get to the cells we meet our betas who bring us to the cell. "Skylar, Tyler! Is that you?" Luka exclaims suddenly. "Oh thank goodness, we've found you!" One of them says. "Open that door they're our cousins" Lucas orders Rory. He opens it and the one of omegas rush to our mates who hug him tightly.

"We thought you were dead, but we heard alpha Peter talking to alpha Greg about finding you so we had to come" he tells them. I see little one approach the smaller and weaker looking twin "what's wrong Sky, you know us we won't hurt you".  Skylar doesn't answer but his brother does after wrapping his arms around him, "That bastard kept us alive, he made us omegas and gave us to alpha Peter who treated us terribly, he called us his little toys" I'm horrified to hear this and no more words are needed to understand why Skylar is skittish.

They notice us standing there and drop to the ground bowing their heads in submission. "It's ok you can stand, please don't be frightened of us we are not like those two. We are your cousins mates so you are our family now too. I'm Damon and this is Dante, please use our names we only go by alpha when it's pack business or are mad, ok". They rise and look at us they are cute little things but have nothing on our mates. Unfortunately they are too thin and have multiple bruises on their face, poor Tyler has finger prints around his neck, it's obvious he's been chocked at some point.
