Chapter 15 -Monster!-
[Sarah's POV]

We sat next to each other, our shoulders brushing as I watched her go through my sketchbook. She didn't look to disturbed when she found pictures of death. She smiled when she found drawings of roses. Roses where the only flower I liked, now I knew she liked them to.

She found a drawing of my mother and glanced at me sadly. "Is this your mother?"

"Yeah."

"She looks loving."

"She was."

After a few more pages she found the drawing I'd done of her.

"Whoa...Sarah this is gorgeous." She said and squeezed my hand. "You made me way too beautiful."

I smiled. "That's how I see you."

Thalia blushed and turned the page to the drawing of us in thrones in what I assumed was my father's palace. I'd never actually seen it but I dreamt of it often.

She laughed. "My Mortal Goddess," she read. "You know we aren't mortal, right?"

I laughed. "I know, but that's what Hades called my mother so-" I showed her the words engraved in my skull necklace. "I felt connected to the words."

Thalia nodded. "It's kind of funny."

"What?"

"The daughter of Zeus, king of the gods, on a throne in the Underworld with the daughter of the god he hates the most." Thalia explained.

I laughed. "Better not let him see this drawing then."

Thalia nodded in agreement. Then she reached the end and closed the sketchbook.

"Sarah, you are an incredible artist." She told me leaning closer.

"I'm not that good." I protested.

"Shut up, you're amazing." Thalia then pulled me into a kiss. "We should go to bed."

"Yeah." I agreed and we both stood up, walking back to the girls dorm. I walked in quietly and I lied down on my bunk. "Goodnight." I mouthed towards Thalia. She mouthed it back and closed her eyes.

I smiled and drifted slowly off to sleep.

The next morning I showered as quick as I could and made my way down to breakfast. I saw Will siting at a table by the window staring at Nico with what looked like a begging face. Nico glared way him from our dark table in the corner.

"What's up?" I asked him, sitting down with some bacon and toast.

"Will wants me to sit in the sun." Nico said and shook his head in Will's direction. Will stuck his tongue out at Nico. "I refuse."

I shivered. "Ugh, the sun."

Nico glanced at me trying to decide whether or not I was joking. I saw Thalia enter and she walked over to my table, much to my surprise, and sat down next to me. She glanced between Will and Nico and seemed to asses the situation.

"You two dating yet?" She asked grabbing my hand under the table. I smiled at her.

Nico blushed a little at the question. "Will set up a date for tonight." He answered.

"Cool. I think you guys would be cute together."

Nico turned away from Will to address us. "So what's the deal here?" He asked.
