Goodbye. {Shawn Mendes Fanfic}

Disneyland

Shawn and I were walking around Disney and it felt amazing. There were Disney characters and Disney Princesses around the park and I took lots of pictures with them. I even got a pair of ears! Shawn thought it was cute how I acted like a little kid but I didn't care, I was having a great day.

Shawn and I stood on line for the Screamin' roller coaster. "Are you scared?" Shawn asked and I rolled my eyes. "No but you are." I say and Shawn argued against it. Shawn stood towering over me with his arms wrapped loosely around my waist. I looked up at Shawn and he smiled at me. "Thank you for this Shawn." I smile up at him. "It was no problem." He says leaning down and pressing his soft pink lips against mine.

Once we pulled away the line started moving, we moved up the line and started talking about random stuff. We were soon at the front of the line and we secured all of our stuff so we wouldn't lose it on the ride. Shawn and I held hands the entire ride because I did get a little scared. Shawn was laughing the entire time probably because of me and the weird faces I was making.

The ride was soon over and Shawn laughed at me. "Stop laughing at me." I whined and he continued to laugh. "You were so scared!" He laughed and I rolled my eyes at him and began walking. I wasn't really mad at Shawn, I just wanted him to think I was. "Santana." Shawn whined catching up to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. "Get off of me." I laughed, Shawn picked me up and swung me around. "I'll get off of you if you stop pretending to be mad at me." Shawn said pecking my cheek. "No." I say trying to get out of his grip. "I'll buy you a Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream sandwich." Shawn said and I instantly smiled up at him. "I love you." I say puckering my lips for a kiss. "Liar" He laughs before pecking my lips and placing me back on the ground.

We soon passed by an ice cream cart and Shawn brought two Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwiches.

It was now 8:30 and the parade was going to start soon. We found a seat in the front behind the barricades. Shawn sat me on his lap and wrapped his arm around me before taking a snapchat picture with me on his phone.

We soon heard music from the floats and I got really excited. The first float came down the pathway and it was filled with a bunch of the characters from frozen. A lot of the kids started yelling Elsa's name along with Kristoff, Olaf and Anna. Kristoff and Olaf were throwing beaded necklaces into the crowd while Elsa and Anna waved to all the kids.

More floats passed by that represented different Disney movies. I waved to all of the people on the float like I was a little kid. Soon Ariel's float passed and more beads were thrown into the crowd. Both Shawn and I caught the beads and Ariel waved at me. "You're like a two year old. It's so adorable." Shawn laughed kissing the top of my head.

The parade was over after a few minutes and both Shawn and I were hungry. "Lets get some food and then we can watch the fireworks at 10:30." Shawn says and I agreed. I brought my food and found a table for both me and Shawn to sit at. We both sat in silence and ate our food. The silence was soon broken by Shawn. "I love seeing you happy." Shawn says and I feel my face start to heat up. "I got the cutest videos of you at the parade." Shawn says and Shows me his Snapchat story. "Please delete this." I laugh at myself. "No, you're cute." Shawn says and we continue to eat. Disney closes at 12:00 so we were going to stay until then.

Shawn and I walked to were a bunch of people were crowded waiting for the fireworks. The Dreams come true live show was being preformed at the castle. (Idk if they do that at Disneyland but I've only been to Disney world and they do it there so sorry if this information is wrong) I stood on my tippy toes trying to see but I couldn't due to the very tall people in front of me. Shawn noticed before telling me to get in his back. I got on his back and had a much better view. "Thank you gentle giant." I said in his ear kissing his cheek. "You're welcome short person." Shawn laughed at his own corny joke.
Soon the fireworks started and and everyone cheered. Shawn and I were taking snapchat videos of the fireworks. He flipped the camera and told me to say hi and I did.

After the fireworks Shawn and I went on Dumbo and a few other quick rides before it was 12:00.

Once it was 12:00 everyone was evacuating the park. It took Shawn and I a while to find Shawn's black jeep since there were so many. I soon got annoyed and decided to set Shawn's car alarm off by pressing the button. We soon found it and we took a long drive back to my uncle's house while listening to Drag Me Down by One Direction. (I'm still on Shawn's cover he should've warned us first!)

Once we got back from Disney we took showers and put away some of the cute souvenirs that we brought. I took Shawn's phone and put the Mickey Mouse case on his phone. While putting on the case I accidentally turned his phone on and noticed the lockscreen. It was a picture from today of me laughing. His phone screen turned black and I placed it back on the bed. I changed my case too before putting my hair in a messy bun and laying down on the bed waiting for Shawn.

Shawn soon came out of the bathroom and jumped in the bed next to me. "You brought us matching cases?" He asked smiling and I nodded. Holding up my phone. "They're so cute." He says and I laugh. "Thank you for today, it really means a lot." I say to Shawn. "It was nothing. Now let's get some sleep, I'm exhausted." He says and I agree.
