I woke up in Shawn's room alone. I was a little confused on why I was alone, I normally wake up before Shawn. I grab my phone and check the time. 2:30 I groaned before climbing out of bed. I never sleep in this late. Shawn should be home at around three o'clock so I decided to take a shower and get dressed.
After my shower I changed into a pair of black shorts and a flowy top with a floral pattern on it. I put on a pair of sandles and put my curly hair in a high pony tail. I had this weird feeling in my stomach but I just ignored it.
After looking in the mirror I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed a water bottle before sitting on the couch. I flipped through the channels to look for something to watch but nothing was on so I decided to go on my phone.
I decided to watch a few youtube videos from Vanessa (SimplyNessa15) I love her story time videos. They're so random.
Shawn entered the house and walked up behind me wrapping his arms around me and kissing my cheek. "Hey babe." Shawn smiled at me. "Hi. How was your day at School?" I asked and Shawn shrugged. "I owe so much work from all the days I missed." He says jumping over the couch and taking a seat next to me. "So..." Shawn says trailing off. "Do you want to go out?" Shawn asked and I shrugged. "Where are we going?" I asked and Shawn Shrugged. "How about we go on an adventure when Aaliyah comes home." Shawn suggest and I agreed.
Thirty minutes later Aaliyah walked in with Timera right behind her. They were laughing about something when they walked in though the door.
"Hey guys." Shawn says and they both respond with a Hi. "Do you guys want to go on an adventure with me and Santana?" He asked and Aaliyah immediately said yes. "I have to call my mom and ask." Timera says and Shawn nods signaling for her to call her mom. "And tell her you might sleep over." Shawn says and Timera looks at Shawn like he's stupid. "It's a school night you know my mom isn't going to let me sleep over." Timera says and continues to dial her mom's number on her phone. "Then you might get home late." Shawn says before grabbing his cup and placing it in the kitchen and quickly running upstairs to change.
Timera's mom agreed that she could go with us as long as she was home by 10:30. Shawn made us all change into a pair of sneakers so I grabbed a pair of all black Nike sneakers. We all got into Shawn's jeep while he drove off to wherever we were going.
"Shawn where are we going?" Aaliyah finally asked the question we've all been dying to know the answer to. "It's a secret." Shawn says and makes a right turn. "At least hand me the Aux cord." Timera said and Shawn handed her the cord. Instantly Austin Mahone started playing. Shawn groaned at the song choice but sang along to Dirty Work.

Shawn soon parked his car and we all got out the car. "We're going to hike up to the Hollywood sign." Shawn said and the three of us gave Shawn a look. "Shawn we're too lazy for this! When you said adventure I thought you meant something simple like a short walk through the woods not a hike!" Aaliyah exclaimed and both Timera and I agreed.
"Stop being lazy." Shawn says and open the trunk of his car handing us each a large water bottle before starting our hike. "Are there mountain lions?" Aaliyah asked and Shawn shrugged. "Seriously Shawn?! I'm going to kill you." Aaliyah exclaimed. "I'm kidding. Calm down." Shawn says while rolling his eyes.
Within the first 30 minutes I got tired of walking so I jumped on Shawn's back. "I don't want to carry you?" Shawn whined. "And I didn't want to go on a hike." I say and Shawn lightly chuckles. Shawn looks up and I lean down to peck his lips.
"Normally there would be an 'eww' after we kiss. Where's Aaliyah and Timera?" Shawn says and I jump off Shawn's back. "Tell me we didn't lose them." Shawn started to freak. "Shawn calm down." I say and try to calm him as he went on and on about how it was his fault that he lost the girls. We couldn't call them because where we were we didn't have any signal. "DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! MY LITTLE SISTER AND COUSIN IS SOMEWHERE OUT THERE ALONE, WHAT IF SOMEONE KIDNAPPED THEM?! THIS WILL BE ALL MY FAULT AND YOU'RE TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN?!" Shawn yelled moving closer to me. I cringed waiting for him to hit me. I slightly opened my eyes and noticed Shawn's facial expression. His face was more relaxed and he looked as if he felt bad. "I didn't mean to scare you." Shawn says calmly. "It's fine. Let's just go find Aaliyah and Timera." I say starting to walk back down the mountain without Shawn.
I could tell Shawn wasn't far behind me but I wasn't going to turn back around to acknowledge him. After walking down the mountain for 15 minutes I heard the familiar laughs of Aaliyah and Timera. "You guys can't just take off like that!" Shawn exclaims. "You shouldn't have told us there were mountain lions." Timera said while rolling her eyes. "You both had me worried. I thought we lost you or you've gotten kidnapped." Shawn says.
"We weren't going anywhere calm down Shawn." Aaliyah says and both Timera and Aaliyah stood up. "We got tired of walking so we sat down." Timera says and Shawn sighs. "Lets just go grab some food and go home." Shawn sighs and we walked down the mountain.
By the time we got down the mountain it was 5:00. We all got into Shawn's car and he drove off. Aaliyah and Timera had their headphones in and were starting to slowly drift off to sleep. I put my headphones in and started to listen to Caraphernelia by Pierce The Veil. I decided to look out the window and lip sing to the entire Song.
"I brought a gun and as the preacher tried to stop me.

I soon got the same weird feeling in my stomach that I got earlier but this time it wasn't going away. Something was wrong and I know it. My thoughts were currently everywhere and I couldn't control it. My breathing increased and a few tears escaped my eyes. I don't know why I was acting this way, but everything that was going through my head was making things worse.
Shawn tapped my shoulder and I turned to look at him. "Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded wiping the tears from my eyes as I tried to slow down my breaths. "Are you sure?" He asked and I nodded once again in response.
Shawn woke the girls up so they could order their food from in and out. I didn't order anything, I wasn't in the mood to eat. I actually felt as if I needed to puke.
We soon got back to Shawn's house. Once we walked in we saw Karen and Manny sitting on the couch. Karen was crying and Manny was comforting her trying not to cry himself.
"Mom what's wrong?" Shawn asked confused. "Aaliyah honey please go upstairs." Manny says and she agrees without any hesitation.
"Santana honey." Karen starts trying to contain her emotions for these few moments. "There's no easy way of saying this but your parents... passed away in a terrible car crash." She says in between sobs. I instantly broke down in tears. Shawn pulled me into a hug and tried to comfort me but that's not what I needed. I needed my dad. When I was a little kid he would always hug me whenever something went wrong. He had a distinct sent that I've always loved, I could never guess what it smelt like.
I pushed Shawn away and rushed out of the house. Shawn followed behind and I just broke down crying. "They can't be gone Shawn! They just can't!" I yelled at him and he pulled me into a tight hug not letting go. "I'll always be here for you." Shawn says and I continued to cry.
"I'll never let you forget that you don't have to do this on your own. I'll be your shoulder to lean on and I'll be your right when you feel wrong. Let me be the one to bear the pain because I'm here for you no matter what, okay?" He says and I nod. "I love you so much." He says and kisses the top of my head as he let me cry into his chest.
